Starwood,

I actually said to my DH the other day, maybe we should get a cruise suitcase down from the attic, and start putting things in it for the cruise....

He just gave me one of those "Are you nuts" look.... shook his head and walked out of the room....

The way I figure it - if you are packing, its almost here, right?

Amy

Sounds about right to me.

I'm getting bad. Ever since we got back last week I've been planning for the cruise. Trying to decide where to stay the night before, where I want to eat at WDW, do I want to get the dining plan.....

Right now we may be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Cocoa (free with DH's HI points). Return rental car and try to get to port by 10 or 10:30 (I love being the first ones there). We'll probably take DCL bus to OKW and then Magical Express back to Airport.

I'd like to eat at Coral Reef for lunch (20% discount with DVC). Maybe Le Cellier (see what all the fuss is about) and Mama Melrose for Fantasmic dinner.

439 Days 21 Hrs 16 Mins 55 Secs
This is making me think of a new thread.......how early did you start preparing for your cruise! So, it looks like there will be a few of us at WDW prior to sailing, so we'll have to come up with a good rendevous point.........I can't book yet, I'm going to try to use DVC so I've got to be at least 11 months out......so, I guess we should maybe order our Passporters for the Tortola cruise, does anyone know if it's out yet?:rolleyes1

I'm also starting to think of what spa treatment I would like. I'm thinking of the vista villa alone time with the lime and ginger salt rub with 1/2 body massage and/or hand ritual with manicure.

Yes, but it's really a long way off.......I can't wait! I have to check into the passporter, they usually make specialty ones for the specialty cruises.....:goodvibes

Your band marched in an opposite direction that our band marched. Was it a morning parade? :confused3

Noone was begging me to chat - I'm sad:sad1:

Well, the first thing I thought when you came back was........Look who's back! How was that?:worship: :worship:

BTW, we've got "Band Chat"

Oh, my, where do I begin....
Allergies, Pennsylvania allergies have been absolutely AWFUL this year..
I've been suffering for over 2 weeks. Normally only need one shot and I'm good, not this year. Now I went to drugstore and bought Zyrtec, hope it helps. We keep the windows closed because of all our allergies - hate to admit it but we also have the air conditioning on for these allergies.
I started a walking plan over a month ago, and stopped when everything started blooming...OK, I'm done, who feels sorry for Lucy:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Today I substituted in the high school, and tomorrow, a study hall. And what did I love the most? My son was in the study hall:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tonight he had jazz ensemble rehearsal from 5-6, and chorus practice, for the concert next week, 6-8, he just got home and was starving. Because I am the GREAT mom that I am (ha!ha!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) I had a hot meal waiting for him.

Over Memorial Day the show choir is going to Ohio, to Cedar Point, to compete, and of course my husband and I are DUMB enough to volunteer to help chaperone, only a 7-1/2 hour bus ride!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
What were we thinking, that it was WDW?:sad2: :headache:

FOUR MORE WEEKS of school!:woohoo: :cheer2:

How about everyone else?:cheer2: :flower3:

We have been enjoying absolutely fabulous weather here on LI. All that's set to change with rain moving in tomorrow. At least I got all my planting done.

Only 4 more weeks of school for you Lucy? We don't get out until around June 16th or so. How can I not know exactly? We teachers usually have started the countdown by now. Hmmmmm, I must be slipping :confused3

Really Maryann, what's that about? Our last day is June 17th and my youngest DD will graduate on June 16th, my oldest DD will return from London on June 14th (I hope) and my middle DD is going to Rome and will return on July 6th!!!.............

Lucy sick? What's that about??:wizard: Here's some pixie dust for you!

4 more weeks of school - boy are you guys lucky. We don't get out until June 25th.

It's raining here too. All day today and most of tomorrow. At least it's supposed to be in the mid 70's today but only upper 50's tomorrow.

Lucy - I love Zytec. I think it works better than all of the others. Feel better.

Last day of school - May 23rd!!!!

Actually, it's June 13th, but we are heading to WDW on the 24th! When DD's principal raised his eyebrows at me, I said, "What are you going to do, flunk my Kindergardener?" He replied, "Good point." :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Zyrtec is my FRIEND!!!!

Thanks to our wonderful state legislature  Texas schools can't start before the 20th of August or something like that - so, we're out June 5. All state testing finished last week, so for all intensive purposes they're "done" with school. The field trip permission slips are coming home almost daily.

Yesterday ds13 went to see a play and Friday, his band is playing at the University of Houston. In two weeks they are going to see the Longhorn project at NASA - Longhorn Cattle are being raised, bred and researched at NASA :confused3 Maybe I'll learn why?

In the 2nd to last week of school dd10 is going to see Prince Caspian, school field days - "athletic" events ie plunger toss, water balloons, and the 5th grade pool party. Since grades have to be in the on Monday of the last week, dd10 will have other fun events scheduled the final week. Wish we could take off early, but ds13 will have final exams.

Zyrtec and I have NOT yet become friends...do i need to give it time?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Tomorrow we are expecting heavy rains - how sad - tomorrow is the prom (not that my son is going, I've NOT forced him to go this year - being a sophomore - but I am starting to ask girls in high school for him for next year:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: .....I want to see my son 'cleaned up':rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

I'm volunteering (as my 16 yr. old asked the other day - why would you 'work' without getting paid!:scared1: ) at the high school tomorrow - what else would you do on a rainy day!

Flunk a kindergartener - how funny is that!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Let's make a choice here - final week of school for a kindergartener or WDW?
End of the year field trips - oh, how I remember those days!:dance3:
