Ok, we're booked for Tortola, too. It's me, DW (3PrincessMommy - she'll be along here soon, I'm sure). DD(7), DD(5), DD(2) (ages they will be as of sail date).

I saw the roster of DISers posted by Starwood (thanks!). For the most part are the kids' ages there current or what they will be when sailing?

This thread is already three times as long as the one for our cruise on Jun 1, 2008.

Only 2 more days and I get my house back to myself as MIL will be leaving .

And mine is coming tomorrow! Big family wedding this weekend - DH's cousin is getting married Saturday, so family is flying in from all over the country. The ILs are only staying with us 1 night and then moving over to the hotel with the rest of the aunts, uncles and cousins for the rest of the weekend.

So, I'm frantically trying to squeeze in house cleaning among kids activities, meetings and my work schedule. And DIS'ing of course... Add to the crazy weekend schedule, ds13 is playing at the Galveston Opera House on Friday night, dh and dd10 will be at the rehearsal dinner. Saturday, dd10 has 2 lacrosse games, 7:00pm wedding with reception following, Sunday family brunch at the cousin (groom) parents' house...

Since this board seems to like games so much - A Bahama Mama to the first person who can spell the capital of this country correctly...

Well if you can pronounce it at the DIS meet - that's probably worth a Bahama Mama.

Burkina Faso is a landlocked country in West Africa. It is ranked as the second least developed country in the world by the UN. The people are wonderful, but the climate and living conditions are very harsh. We've been here since Aug. 2006 and will be taking our cruise when we transfer in 2009.

If any of you are Amazing Race fans, they came through here last season - milked a few camels and learned some of the local language.

I run the American Cultural Center for the U.S. Embassy and DH is our IT guy.
