The pictures are great! Can't wait to feel those balmy breezes, although it is 50 degrees this AM and they say 60 tomorrow! Still, I put island pictures as my background on my computer so I am READY!!

I'm not into fish extenders but a grab bag from our home town sounds great and worked out well on our Med cruise. I'm in on that if we do it.

Glad you had a good time Lucy. How can you not have a great time in WDW!

Maryann

I've had a few rough visits in CC, due to weather. I haven't been to CC in some many years, we better get a good day. Sorry about the blustery weather, but at least the beginning of your trip was nice! Welcome to the group!:goodvibes

wanted to let the DISers know - I've had perfect weather on Castaway Cay, EVERY SINGLE TIME...even the Mexican cruise was normally cold and we had wonderful weather, until the last day, when it WAS cold....SO, if we have bad weather, won't be my fault:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I'lll blame it on JoAnn:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You are SO RIGHT, Mrs. G........the parks could be closed due to crowds and I can find other fun things to do at Disney....actually, my family LOVES the resorts as much as the parks.....there are only two resorts where we have never stayed - the Grand Floridian and OKW.....we even have good times at All Star and POP....if it comes down to not going or staying at these resorts....we will definitely pick these resorts. Our kids have never been lucky enough to stay at Contemporary (my DH and I have BC - before children) but once the DVC is built...I'm hoping we can take them there too.

Crafty, ME? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Let me just confess something here...the only classes in high school I cheated in were sewing and art......get the picture here with me?:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Now, my husband, totally crafty and artsy....

lwilliam

You have to stay at OKW (that's our home away from home DVC).

We booked our air yesterday for our April trip. $390 per person!!!! and $195 one way to bring DS home with us. I can't wait until he's out of school and we can start going in the off season. I'll be able to go twice as often.

We've stayed at the GF a few times, usually at a good rate, a way long time ago. A few years ago, I splurged and used my DVC points and we stayed there again. All I can say is.......IT'S WORTH IT......but of course, only as a major splurge.

I agree though, any resort in WDW is worth the trip, we've also stayed at All Star many times and we loved it there too!!

We're staying at WL for the first time this w/e. I can't wait!!! It's our home resort and we've never stayed there before!!:cool1:

LOVES Wilderness Lodge!

High winds here in Kutztown today - wouldn't you know, it is recycling day - i can just see me chasing our plastic down the street (yes, this has happened before and it is a site to see!):lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good morning everyone!

All this talk about Disney hotels, sigh, we haven't visited near enough... (off site - '81, '85 ) Polynesian - 1989, Wilderness cabins, 1999; and Pop Century, 2004... The only place I really would prefer not to stay is All-Star Sports - but, if someone else is paying - I'm there!!! ;) We're planning a visit before our cruise...

I'm excited for this June, I'm spending my birthday in DL...:cool1: (Dh's too - the next day - honest...) No where near enough visits there either ('82, '92) and first time on site (PP) :yay:

the boards are double posting - arrrggg! erased the duplicate post and added...

ds 13's confirmation is Saturday - my parents came in last Saturday and the ILs are arriving tomorrow. It's been a busy week as the kids went back to school and resumed their activities. DS has final exams next week too - nothing like trying to study when he'd rather spend time with his grandparents...

All:wizard: I can say is.....Just Do It! It's always worth it!

Good luck with your house full of company. Everything always seems to be at the same time. Enjoy the Confirmation!

We were down in WDW this weekend and we kept seeing the DCL bus. Too many wonderful memories and we're not returning for 18 months...............that sounds like a great plan! Also, I believe there's a chance for a different itinerary in summer 2010?:dance3:

Isn't there the rumor of the new boats in 2010?

I'm excited about this itinerary - we've never done an Eastern - all new ports for us!!!

We've done the Eastern once but we used to travel to St. Thomas a few times and we love it there, we've been to BVI for two day trips, and it is so amazing.........also, St. John is fabulous...............we will have a blast, I can't wait!! I'm not sure what the status of the new ships are but we're on a waiting list!:goodvibes
