Back to your question on the search function - it may not work well with this "upgrade" not that it worked well before- sometimes I have the best luck searching google "Disney Cruise Formal" or whatever I'm searching for...

Just knowing that in a few short months we'll be off again made it easier to come home. This trip couldn't have been better. We even saw the Space Shuttle when it took off.
All this talk about traveling on the day of departure is making me nervous. We used to come a day or two before but decided to just stay over a few days. Now I'm getting nervous about the getting to the ship on time
Last year when we did DL and Mex Riv if we hadn't planned on the pre-stay we could have missed the boat it was sooooo stressful![]()
We love getting to the terminal as early as possible, it's fun to walk around, look at the model, get pictures, watch classic cartoons, and just anticipate the fun that is about to begin!
In Grand Caymen we booked our own Turtle Farm/Stingray City excursion and it was fantastic! It was the 3 of us and 4 people from another ship. We had a great time and because there were only 7 of us the driver really was able to customize the tour for us. We had plenty of time, in fact the other people needed to get back before we did and the driver made sure they got back.
I'm toying with doing Coral World on our own. It's just a matter of taking a cab which seems simple enough. DS wants to do the sea trek and I'd like to have some time a the beach too. The DCL excursion doesn't include beach time. DH is planning on golfing.
I've been to St. Thomas a few times and it's very easy to get a cab off the ship and go to Coral World. I'm pretty sure there's a beach there too. I've heard it's nice, I haven't been there in about 15-16 years so I'm not sure about that beach. My favorite thing to do there is take the ferry from Red Hook to St. John and go to the beaches there. The only thing I don't like about the cabs is that they wait until they fill them before you can get where you're going. Usually, it's an open bed and it holds quite a few people.![]()
