Count us in for the Grand gatherings illuminations on Friday too. We were planning to be in Epcot on Friday anyway. We are five (2 adults & 3 children - 7,5, & 2) and staying at Shades of Green.

So, how does the reservation work? Do we just give the hotel the number? How do we pay for it?

All you need to do right now is give your hotel the gatherings number. I'll call later today and make the ressie for the illuminations. We pay 45 days in advance. I'm sure i can set it up where each person can call and pay for their family. I'll find out when i call later today.

I have a question - what night is the Illumination Cruise?

Yes, IF the Illumination cruise is Friday night, we can't meet anyone - we could also come over to Saratoga and meet some of the DISers and other night, Monday-Thursday!

Joann: since we've never stayed at the GF (GF and SoG only Disney hotels we've never been at) - we must come over and see your room....yes, I just invited myself - what else is new with me?

I'll have to call tomorrow to add the Grand Gathering. DVC member services is closed today. It sounds like such fun!

I'll have to call either tomorrow or on Saturday to book this guys. I completely forgot it was a holiday and member services and the people who book grand gathering events are closed today. If it keeps snowing we will be off tomorrow and I will be able to do it then if not I'll do it on Saturday.

Foe the Fe I'm all for only doing one gift or gift bag. On our Christmas cruise we had goodie bags for each day of the cruise by day three I was tired of having to deliver all of those that I deliver the remaining bags all in one night. It is really helpful to know who is traveling with children or if the cabin is just adults or teens. I like to make sure their is something in the bag for everyone.

For the Illuminations dinner/dessert VIP viewing area I need a head count and ages by Monday. Space for the one night we could do it was running out. If you are going to participate in this and are staying on property you need to add our grand gatherings number to your resort reservation. So you don't have to go back and look for it the number is 824529.

Yes call tomorrow. Nobody is open today other than dining it's a holiday. Who knew some of Disney closed for holidays.

can't wait to see her dress tonight. Sorry for the off-topic of the cruise, but today is SO historical in my mind....glad to be home and witnessing every minute of it. (and sitting in my warm house )

I am hosting over 400 Burkinabe nationals at the American Cultural Center today to watch the inauguration LIVE! I'm praying that everything works!!! (I have three TV's and a satellite connection to worry about!)

Glad it will be about 80 degrees! (Although people are complaining that it's a little chilly today. )

Guess I' better get ready - gotta go change clothes!
