Looks Yummy!!!!! :thumbsup2

It's AMAZING. It's consistently one of the highest rated restaurants on Disney property, and one of (if not THE) highest rated buffets in the state. Disney did a great job of finding African foods that would cater to the timid, while still maintaining use of all the spices that set African cuisine apart from the rest of the world. EVERYONE who comes to Disney should try it at least once, and after that they'll probably be hooked and not want to eat anyplace else. I've heard of a few people walk away unimpressed, but you can't please everyone...

There's also the Jiko, but I'm afraid that I've never tried it because I usually get one shot to eat at AKL over prolonged periods of time, and I love Boma so much that I'm afraid to go over to Jiko and walk away sad that I didn't eat at my favorite place. One day when I stay there again with the opportunity to eat multiple meals I'll give Jiko a try, though.

I believe there's also a new place in AKL that just recently opened up that I have yet to try. I think it caters to Indian style food, but I'm not sure. I'll be trying that in short order, too! :)

I should also add that anyone who can walk into AKL at dinner time, and NOT want to eat at the Boma after the smells that come up from the kitchen, is either the most strong willed human in the world, or has lost all sense of smell. :) Just thinking about it is making my mouth water.

I'm with you on that. We love Boma, even my very picky DD loves the place. I have yet to eat breakfast there. One day...............

By the way, I LOVE the color of the powder room! It looks fantastic! :) Remind me to post my Dr. Seuss room sometime. It actually turned out pretty fantastic, and is the only thing reassuring me that I'm not a horrible, horrible painter. :)

We won't discuss the paint color mistakes over the years. :rotfl: I think that's why I'm really happy with the color choices for that room. The material for the curtains was where it came from. There are many subtle Mickey touches all over the house. It drives my MIL nuts. This is from the lady that did a whole house in sailboats.

I've told my DH that there are three reasons he can lock me in a closet until I come to my senses.
(1) Picking out paint colors without someone going with me for the voice of reason. I am getting better. All three bathrooms turned out the best.
(2) "I think I'll perm my hair." What a disater! Twice. :confused3
(3) "Let's go cut down our Christmas tree." We always end up getting the "prefect" tree right around the corner at this one stand. :lmao:
