Don't feel left out - come to the meets.... it's not important that you are involved in the FEs - it's just something to do - I think that some are having a grab bag at the meet - so maybe you could do that.......

:guilty:Feeling left out because we're not doing FEs. Initially, I was going to but then life got so hectic and I ended up working this summer so I knew it would ended be a stressor for me. Maybe I'll see you all around anyway.:)

Don't feel left out. Less things to do and pack. So there is a plus. ;) I agree this has nothing to do with the meets or grab bag.

BTW, how did you decorate your powder room? Is it Disney themed?
Had a hard time with Photobucket. Here they are:
Look at the right hand corner of the magazine rack.

I've always wanted to go back to add inch size hidden Mickeys. I wish Disney would sell a rubber stamp between 1-2 inches of just the three circles design.

One week from now we will be leaving the pool area at Kidani village to get ready for our Boma ADR. :cool1: I LOVE Boma. :)

Probably now in the middle of "Hey baby"....

I'm so jealous of your mad painting skills. :) I've tried faux three times now (including just the other day) and it's never come out to the point that I really like it. I just spent an extra two days redoing the entire room in a nice autumnal cider color, which worked, but I lost my hidden Mickey AND my Boma theme in the process. :(

But, whatever. I love the color, and that's 99.9% of the battle, and I'll just have to work some Disney in some other way. :)

By the way, I LOVE the color of the powder room! It looks fantastic! :) Remind me to post my Dr. Seuss room sometime. It actually turned out pretty fantastic, and is the only thing reassuring me that I'm not a horrible, horrible painter. :)

Don't feel left out! Definitely come to the meet on Sunday and bring a grab bag gift - $20 from your hometown! No preregistration required!

Also - I sent you a PM.

So kids just went out to swim with Grandma and Grandpa. I've spent much of the day trying to race to finish some of my FE special items. I think I'll enjoy an hour of quiet while the grandparents tire out the grandkids!!! :thumbsup2

Then we'll fire up the bbq for some ol' fashioned hamburgers and hot dogs (courtesy of Omaha Steaks!!!! YUMMMMMMMM!!!)

Started packing all of our fe gifts and some other stuff are now packed and waiting in the garage to leave. OK they only send us 6 luggage tags but we cna have more than 6 bags or boxes right? I sure hope so or we are going to be dragging a lot of stuff onboard with us. Off to make crab cakes dinner will be much later on tonight.

If you could only see how green with envy I am... It's my favorite restaurant down here (See: Screen Name). We were supposed to go a few weeks ago for my daughter's birthday, as tradition dictates for both her and my birthdays, but it was booked because of some special event or another.

Oh, well! Enjoy it, and think of me while you're there. Make sure to eat some ginger soup (aka - ice cream soup) for me!

P.S. As a complete aside, I just recently go into a big argument with someone who refused to try the Boma because, and I quote, "It's African food... yuck!" I hate when people won't try new things. Especially when they're awesome. :(

Having spent the last three years in Africa, I find that very close-minded.:sad2:

Although, I must admit that I'm unfamiliar with "Boma", can you enlighten me??? :confused3

BOMA is one of the restaurants inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge. African themed with African inspired food. Very very good....

"Boma is a family restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. It will capture the essence of vibrant life in the African marketplace. This family-fun buffet restaurant provides guests the ability to savor the African experience, which has multicultural influences. The restaurant showcases an exhibit kitchen, wood-burning grill and rotisserie.

This is an all you can eat experience, but unlike traditional buffet lines, where you start at one end and work your way across...Boma offers "pods". Each pod has a selection of food and generally a chef nearby to answer questions."

You should make one out of a potato!

So, since I'm exhausted and a little silly, I must admit to you that when I was looking atthe FE list, I missorted some of the columns so that your "home" column ended up as the name column, and I wondered whether your parents were part of the independence movement and so named you. Then I realized it WAS the "home" column. Oopsie. :rotfl:

Okay, so I just finished the FE gifts and now have to make our FE. I must admit to being a bit crafted out right now, though. Maybe I'll just put a big bucket hanging from the fish instead . . . .
