I found out today I'm getting a promotion. We have acquired another school and are taking over July 1st. Besides being a lead teacher I'm going to be in charge of the preK program. I was a little shocked because i had missed so much work being sick i was sure my name had been taking off the list of possibles for that job.

Today we covered the XP operating system, Paint (including a test), Vocab words (XP and 2007 word), and Intro to 2007 Word

Tomorrow: Typing Master, Vocab Quiz, Desktop Quiz, finish chapter 1 Microsoft word, take word quiz and word test, and start business letters.

I love summer school, we cover 1 week of class in one day.

Unfortunately, I won't be participating in the FE exchange. Since I joined this group, my group of other families that will be going has climbed to 3 (plus us). I had lots of fun on my last cruise doing this plus a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, but my husband and kids didn't have as much fun as I did, since I met so many nice DISers before we boarded - it felt like old friends, but DH didn't get our jokes or are friendships that were formed.

NoahsMom - were you on the October 27-Nov 3(?) cruise with Hurricane Noel?

It feels like fall outside today! I got cause I thought I missed the cruise but than I realized it is just Maryland weather. High of 65 today. Did anyone see that ice storm in NJ?
