Tricia,

Just replied to your PM and wanted to make sure you received it. (Can you tell I'm still figuring out this PM stuff?)

This was posted on the main forum - thought I'd repost it here:

The boards will be coming down at 9pm eastern time tonite 6/12 in order to allow Verio to update the driver for our SAN and perform some database maintenance. . They will be shut down for 5-6 hours.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:It's crunch time.......I'll be more tense after school lets out next Friday...........:cool1:

Umm.... I START school on Monday...

Monday through Friday... one class only - 7:30 to 1:30...

Teaching the Microsoft suite.... I love teaching it, except I really do not like Access... hence, I don't do too much with it....

I'll probably have 24 9th-12th graders taking the class... We report on Monday, classes start on Tuesday.

Hello veterans, OK, now that I know what a FE is and that we're supposed to put goodies in them......it sounds pretty involved, especially when you are trying to decide whether to ship the items onboard or pack them. Please give me some concrete ideas of what goodies to possibly bring. The post I was referred to was really long and I didn't find specific examples. I won't be getting one of the super special FEs, probably better than a paper bag though.:rotfl:

Also, we have the opportunity to ugrade for $400 from a verandah cat. 6 to a verandah family stateroom. Is the extra 36 sq. ft. truly worth the extra $400????

I see I need to post 10 times to get PMs. I'm going to chop this post up.

We are staying 7/17 at the Radisson sister resort Country Inn. The Radisson was sold out by the end of May. Is anyone else staying at the Country Inn for Park and Cruise?

Currently we have stateroom 6564 verandah.

Be honest. It's around the corner from the mid-ship elevators. Is this a noisy cabin??.....a little concerned about late at night.

Thanks

It's weird. All of those other posts still say I've only posted 6 times. Does someone have to reply before it counts to get to my 10?

Also, what is this earning a pirate thing?

Thanks for educating the novice. :scared1:

Oh good, I see that the post number is now going up. Just an excuse to get closer to 10. Thanks for your patience.

Welcome, Strawberry Rubia. I can't help you on the potential upgrade. You might want to post your question on the Cruise Forum.

Page 10 has a few pictures. The first few pages have some ideas what people have done in the past. (Things from their state- magnets, Vermont maple syrup, small regional candies, Christmas tree ornaments. This with a pirate/cruise/Caribbean theme. Things from Oriental trading. Pens with the cruise info and Dis group name on it. Little things that you could use on a cruise.)

I hope this helps you.
