This is my second pirate and again it happened by accident, almost :woohoo:

I think I'll go with Captain OOPS - is that taken?

Good Job!!!

Now, I have to reclaim my original quest of the day. Today is Shakespeare's birthday. My goal is to work as many Shakespearean phrases into conversations today as possible. I'll have to think of a few that might befit this occasion of missing the pirate.

I'm all ears! How many phrases have you used? If I had known I would have said, 'To be or not to be, Captain OOPS'

This is defintely a fun group!!

Thanks for all the welcomes!:cool1:

Glad to see we should have some good company! I will make sure DD gets on the other thread, and I love that there are some boys DS's age as well. Yea!!! not sure I will be able to concentrate for the next 2 months!

Go Captain OOPS!!

Happy Birthday Shakespeare!! Have fun with your quest mickeymo.

Off to drive my DS to my DD's school (his old school) to work on the play that opens next week. They are both techies in training. I hope they don't follow in their parent's footsteps. :scared1:

Might I offer, "O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-ey'd monster, which doth mock
The meat it feeds on. "

Then again, "Off with his head!" might be more befitting of a pirate! :lmao:

I'm sorry if you have already said this. What play are they doing?

What have I used?

"To sleep perchance to dream"
"Out damned spot" - I'm doing laundry that's a no brainer!
"Such stuff that dreams are made on" - in response to a friend on facebook who wanted me to do her laundry.
"Let every eye negotiate for itself" also in response to same friend - I found that one and decided I liked it better.
"With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come." in response to another facebook friend who is enjoying the quest.

While I would love to use "Get thee to a nunnery" and "A Plague on both our houses" I think "Blinkin Idiot" will be far more useful today.

My English Teacher would be so proud. Although, maybe not, Google is my friend - and I'm amazed that so many of his phrases have worked themselves into everyday language.

"I go, and it is done; the bell invites me."

I was saving that one for when the phone rang ;)

"Parting is such sweet sorrow" is just too obvious...:lmao:

Guess what! It looks like there was a glitch with the reservation system between AAA and DCL. Seems lots of folks were able to book their cruise for July or August at half-price or more!!!!!

There's a thread on the main cruise board talking about it and several of the beneficiaries are now on our cruise!

Evidently AAA has now corrected the problem and is overcharging for these cruises, but everyone who got the crazy cheap prices is keeping those fares.

So, I invited all of them who were successful to get on our cruise to come and join us here - on the condition that the rest of us who paid :scared1:TWICE :scared1: as much are treated to complimentary cocktails at the Dis Meet...:rolleyes1

wow! At least they are honoring the glitch prices! So now to make up for it, they're overcharging? :confused3

Congrats on the pirate: Captain OOPS!!!! :rotfl:

Anyone know how many FE's we're up to.

Just to remind the new cruisers, we are doing FE gifts, one per cabin. Just let Lucy know your room # and she'll add you to the list. Thanks for taking care of it Luce.

Also, Lissa posted about a Grand Gathering we're doing on Fri night, 7/17 at Epcot. Look back a few posts and you'll see the info. Please join us.

Are we going to do tee shirts or something to distinguish us as Dis'ers for this cruise? Any ideas - creative people out there?

I think that we should use our logo on T-shirts...
