Isn't it funny how just when you think I need to check on where something I have ordered is it shows up The important part is they have arrived.

You must be so organized I would never be able to find anything. I haven't moved in 25 years and I can't find things

I'm home today due to an appointment and I'm supposed to be cleaning and organizing. Instead, I keep posting on here. HOWEVER, I JUST STARTED TO PACK TODAY..........I've opened the suitcase and put in the T-shirts and FEs.........my FE shipment should arrive this week as well, woohooo.......

My mother has relapsed 15 years after breast cancer. Now it's in several organs. Last week she started an experimental treatment. She did an experimental treatment last time, too, and apparently it worked pretty well. If the first week is any indication, she'll have about four good days a week when she can get out of bed. One of her biggest concerns right now is whether she'll be able to attend her 50th high-school reunion in October (in Salina, KS), or if her treatment will keep her close to home (northern VA).

Prayers for your Mom and everyone else that is having trying times.

Ok, here's the most recent info on the day charters.......

After talking to my DH, we've decided to go with the Kuralu day sail trip to Jost Van ****. The price is about $90pp give or take $10, I'm still working on this one. I've asked if we should just make one stop to White Bay Beach (home of Soggy Dollar Bar and a beautiful beach) or if we could also go to Great Bay. They're getting back to me tonight. I think it includes transportation, soft drinks, beer and lunch (I have to double check on that but I should know tonight.) I know some of us expressed interest but that was back when we were talking about the Baths. I'll have more info tonight but please PM me if you're interested b/c there's only 20 people maximum.

We've also decided to go St. John for the day to snorkel. It will cost between $50 - $70 to include ferry shuttle to St. John, snorkel equipment and snorkeling on the north side of the island. This one has a maximum of 28 people for two boats, about 14 each and includes only soft drinks and beer.

If anyone is interested in either of these trips please PM me with a total number of people and whether or not you need snorkel equipment for the St. John trip. I will share more info as I get it.

Just finished working with clients. dd baked a double batch of peanut butter cookies, yum! DS was up early and out the door at 7:00 for marching band practice. So much for summer vacation.

Tonight is the band parent's meeting - I might as well sign over the checkbook. They're talking financial obligations. This year is a travel year, BOA competition in Indianapolis, and a major source of fund raising has been denied by the school district. So, (collectively) the parents will have to make up over 40,000 in fees that would have been subsidized by the fundraiser
