We have a hidden Mickey in our front landscaping....

I think that trumps my painted hidden Mickey.

And to be fair, it's not really well hidden. It's large enough that my kids saw it immediately. I have to work on my painting/hiding skills. The rest of the room is quite nice, though, even if it's not exactly what I wanted.

OK 7 pages in one day and my mom thought i spent a lot of time online. Today is Matt's b-day and guess what I got a gift to. We both got i-pod touches. Mom was going to wait and give me mine tomorrow but he told her not to. Of course I reminded him that this year was not a big b-day that would happen next year when we fly to London the day after for the Baltic cruise.

Our grab bag is going to be an interesting mix. We had to laugh because at first everything we came up with was illegal to take across state lines. We did come up with a good mix of stuff for adults and kids.

So..............DH is FINALLY excited for the cruise! This is the oddest trip we've every planned inasmuch as it was touch and go whether or not we'd even be able to go. But the planets have alligned and all is well. Yay! We're on a boat !!!!! (not yet, but we will be soon!)

Just a quik hello and check in. I've been taking a Forensics class and tomorrow is the last day. Then I can finally get serious about packing. I have tried to pile up a few items, but I need to really focus on exactly what we're taking.

Trade winds and palm trees here we come!

I will be emailing the spreadsheet to those who have requested it. Any updates made after I send it will be fixed and I will resend. It may be later this weekend before I can do the resend. Our foster son is moving out Friday so tomorrow night we have to get him packed (although he's been moving stuff to his mom's for a couple of weeks now). I have to work on Saturday, so it may be Sunday before I get a resend done.

Unfortunately, I took mine in today because I thought the brakes were in need of new pads....yep...basically two plane tickets worth of work!A terrible hit right before the cruise, but our theory is that given the condition of the brakes, I might not have made it to the cruise

My apologies! A few days ago I posted a link to a music video my brother showed me - he only showed me part of it. I had no idea there was so much foul language!

I liked the part he showed me so much I put it on my ipod. Today at work I was listening to the whole song.

I still like the main part "I'm on a boat, I'm on a boat, a great big beautiful boat...." I also like the part where he has his "flippie floppies".

only 9 more days before we leave!! I'm anxiously awaiting the reunification of our foster son with his mother on Friday. then I will have my spare room back and can put our suitcases out and start to see what I'm missing.
