omg i cant wait tell the cruise its going to be so fun even though i have been on a disney cruise i am still so excited hopefully my son makes frriends is there any kids that are 11

Just spent the last hour putting fe gifts together. The items for the bags having been here for awhile I've just now been motivated to do anything. I will literally wait till the last minute to pack and do stuff like that. The night of the 12th I'll be running @ trying to finish everything.

Noah and I picked 15 lbs of strawberries this morning. Now I'm making Jam. So far I've made 4 batches, I have enough sure jell for 6 batches and enough strawberries for 18 batches.

Should I send you my address to send jam or is it for the FE?

Thx so much for keeping track of this............. I will ask Tara to make our map and we'll have them for the meet on Sunday where we can make modifications if necessary!! (and hopefully I'll post it for those of us who aren't leaving yet!!)

For all who are interested in meeting other cruisers, a group will be gathering at the SSR Turf Club for drinks and chatting. Just ONE MORE question: anyone staying at the airport Friday night. The Fisher Family (mjfish1020) and the Williams Family (lwilliam) will be there....

Been working hard at the Kutztown Folk Festival.....have the next few days off (I think) and then back on Friday, Sat. and Sunday....and, by that time, our cruise will be right around the corner.....how exciting

Just lost another friend last night to that terrible, terrible disease, cancer.
I'm just so glad I took the time to visit her in the hospital this past Monday.

We've got some serious shopping going on around here for the kids...they NEVER want to buy new clothing, but we are finally getting them to agree to go shopping....Old Navy is their store. Bob took the 22 yr. old today, and last week he took our 17 yr. old. (they refuse to go with mom!).

I ended up making 8 batches of jam. Then I cleaned and sliced a bunch for ice cream, and I still have a bag of uncleaned ones. I'm sure they will all be eaten. DH & Noah love strawberries on ice cream. I prefer strawberry shortcake. Growing up my mom made biscuits for shortcake, Bill's mom bought the spongy cake things in the store. Needless to say we don't agree on how shortcake should be made so I usually don't make it. I might this time though...

OMG - I can't believe you are saying this - strawberry shortcake (WITH biscuits) was always my pick for my birthday cake and haven't had it since my mom is not well. Let me describe - she made an 8 inch round shortcake - split it in half - and filled with marshmellow icing between the cake and around the cake - decorated with strawberries....OMG - I'm drooling talking about it. I'll be looking for my jam in the mail!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all, I'm sitting here waiting for my car to be fixed.......only 18 months old and it stopped 4 times on Friday in "stop and go" traffic.......I was freaking out! So now, hopefully, it will be fixed at the local car dealership........wish me luck!
