We are so happy now as we recieved email from Dreams Unlimited to tell us that Disney Cruise Line contact them today to advise that a sign language interpreter will be onboard the ship when you sail on July 18, 2007
Will be useful for us but it is ASL (American Sign Laugagues) but we don't mind as we saw them last year as they were very good acting/signing at shows.

Still waiting for medi. information/brochure

that's wonderful! Getting these details makes it seem like our trip is coming up so very very soon! I can't wait!

A friend at work went to Rome last year and loaned me her photo CDs for the weekend so we can look at them. I'm excited to see some of the places we'll be going.

Hi everyone ,

We have also just received our cruise info yesterday and it has started to get us excited about or holiday of a lifetime . The hard work of choosing which excursions to pick will begin now. We want to go on almost all the excursions but will have to ensure we have some relaxation time too.

Our travel plans are now complete, we fly directly from Edinburgh to Barcelona on 15.07.2007 with Globespan and spend 3 nights in the Eurostar Grand Marina Hotel before the crusie and then spend 1 night there after the cruise before we fly back to Scotland on the 29th.

Does anyone have any idea of the dinner schedule eg. which night the pirates dinner will be on and which night is formal night etc. I think this might be useful when planning trips and spa time etc as these are the 2 main nights my DD is interested in and does not want to miss them.

Sounds like we're all getting excited about the cruise! Woo-hoo! I love reading about everyone's plans coming together.

Here are the excursions we're planning:

Palermo for Kids
Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri for Families
Costa Smeralda
Jumping back into Eternal Rome
Florence and Pisa
Marseille and Little Train
Nice and Train Tour

Not sure what we'll do in Barcelona yet. Once we get our actual travel arrangements from Disney, we'll have a better idea. Our papers said that we can see our flights, etc. around June 1st.

Snap! Pete and I are planning to do the Jumping Back to Eternal Rome and the Florence and Pisa tours too. Might also go to Arles at Marseilles. We haven't decided on the other ports yet.

Naples - Mt Vesuvius Hike & Pompeii
Cititavecchia - Jumping back to Eternal Rome
La Spezia - Pisa VIP
Villefranche - Create your own Perfume


I haven't decided on the other ports yet.

I also made another big decision last night. I decided that the dreaded diet starts on Monday giving me just over 4 months, so I should be able to loose a little weight by then. Is there anyone else trying to take a little less of themselves on the cruise???? If so let me know and maybe we can help each other along.

I still have not receive the medi. brochure/information yet

Have not make our mind up for excursion yet!!

And we are going to Barcelona for 3 days well as we flight from BA but think big mistakes now as BA change the different times now as we are leaving 8 am in the the morning, arrive London then waiting for 4 hours for another flight then we will arrive Barcelona around 5 pm!!

Wish to book flyglobespan in first place!!

We are thinking to visit the chocolate museum, Magic Fountain of Montjuic.

Also i am starting diet well and find it hard but try my best.

Also my family and I are very happy about interpreter well.

We still haven't received our "Med Pack" We hope it will be in the mail now very soon. Meanwhile, we did the "big payment", so that's something we don't have to think about anymore. By the way, I was last week for a "training session" in the south of Spain, and guess what: we had return to Belgium via a short stop in Barcelona. I was sitting at the window and when our plane descended, I could see the Harbor, and... the cruise ships. Can you imagine what went through me ???

My husband think surname post first??

We pay full amount of balance but we changed our mind after saw someone had cancel Cat 8 so we got it from Cat 9 to Cat 8. Little extra payment left!!

Cannot believe the times go quickly and hope we receive it as soon as possible cos we have not start planning excursions yet

I emailed our TA to confirm our final payment so I can make it in the next day or two. (where is the smiley of someone fainting??)

Well, I made our final payment today, so now it's time to just sit back and wait til April 19th when we can start booking excursions.

My last name starts with a B and we have not gotten our packets yet. Actually, it starts with an A, but the name that was on the cruise stuff initially begins with B so I'm guessing they'd have used that. I just changed it a couple of days ago cause my passport and stuff is all in my maiden name (the A) but when my mom booked it she used my married name not knowing.

It better come soon though cause I can't wait!

My TA sent a copy of my confirmation showing paid in full ~ hooray! We're doing air, hotel and transfers, too -- so I went to travelocity today to see what airfare would be if I booked it myself. And right now we're saving about $630 by going through DCL just on airfare.

I have paid the flight, apartment, and the cruise and little left was change stateroom so that was left payment

Order dollars and euros as good rates and will be delivered to my door on end of March!!

Never thought can tip dollar or euro.

Better start looking at excursion on internet and fed up waiting for medi. pack

Heard about will be on and we are happy about it as kids got new uniform as my daugher had pirate birthday party last Oct. Can use it again!

I was wondering about whether I should try to get Euro's here before we leave as I know we'll need / want some while we're there. Everything onboard can be done with US Dollars, but I know we'll do some shopping in the ports and want Euro's for that. I don't even know how to begin to get Euro's.

My family and I have traveled to Europe some and we have found that the best exchange is just by using an ATM at the airport etc. in Europe when you get there.
