July 17-21. 2005 Wonder Roll Call

Just got our docs via UPS today! Don't know if there's an official DIS Board meet. We can do it anyway and have our own "meet". Since there seems to be about three to four families here on this board we can pre-arrange to meet each other at Parrot's Cay for lunch after we board. I believe the docs state boarding time is 1PM, but I've heard that you can start boarding at 11:30 AM. I'm gonna be dropping off the family at the dock and return my rental car early so I can get onboard in time to enjoy my lunch. Everyone game?

Just signed up for the Banana Boat ride at C.C. Haven't figured out if the kids want to do any of the teen stuff on CC so gonna sign up onboard for that. Anyone for ideas on Nassau? Thought about doing the Stuart Cove scuba, but the 12 yr old isn't certified yet, so figure it wouldn't be fair to him. Maybe just have the kids stay onboard and the wife and I will dive!... That may be a possiblitiy! How's everyone doing on their prep? Just brought out our "cruise box" to fill with stuff I know we're gonna need but will probably forget when actually packing the suitcases.

My family and I will also be traveling aboard the Wonder. We also have a big family Mom, Dad, Sister 17, brother 16, sister 14, brother 10, myself and my 6 year old son. We are so excited. I don't know if the kids can wait 6 more days . We will also be arriving early but not sure what we are doing about lunch yet.

Our whole gang is getting excited. As mentioned previously, we are headed to WDW first then onto the ship. I am so excited to see you all on board. We will look for you at Parrots. I am however going nuts over all the information on these boards. I never knew there was so much prep involved in going on a cruise. I know we will forget alot of stuff but am looking forward to having fun no matter what. How will we be able to do all the things on board in such a short time? Maybe it is just my anticipation and excitement kicking in. I better get packing!! We leave in 2 days. See you all there!!!

Well it's hard to believe that we will be leaving on the cruise in just 4 days! My family and I are getting really excited and I can't help watching the cruise DVD every day ( just kidding...maybe not every day!) I hope everyone is getting excited and that everyone has a great cruise! Since my mom and I are the only two that chat here on the disboards, we were thinking of swinging by and saying hi to you guys before we join the rest of are family (1st time cruisers) for lunch up at Beach Blanket! Are there any other teens out there who will be in the Aloft?

We're leaving tomorrow morning to head down to Port Canaveral, hope to see everyone onboard. We're be in cabin #8012 and feel free to leave a message if we don't meet you upon boarding. The kids are excited and getting on each other's nerves right about now......can't wait till we get onboard. Hey we may be able to see the Space Shuttle launch if things work out! That'll be GREAT!

Wow! Now only a day away ! My mom and I are looking foward to seeing all of you disboarders onboard! Hoping to try and stop by Parrot's Cay during lunch to meet everyone and say hi! I will be in my Aloft Visor(teens get them at the end of the cruise) that is tan with "Aloft" in Red! I am not sure what I am going to wear but, I am definitly wearing the hat!
