Like indymousefan we put ours on our shipboard account and then you can use it for the shops, tips, drinks, excursions, pictures. It's paid our whole onboard account the last 2 cruises. It's awesome!
How do I add it to this ship board account? Is it different than the redemption card?

Can I add gift card credit to each booking in advance of the cruise, do you know? I have spending money gift cards for each room that i'd like to apply so it's done and I don't have the danger of forgetting them :)

I'm pretty sure you can. Just call dcl and have them add it :)

Yes, you can. You will need to call the cruise line and read off the numbers of each gift card, so scratch them off ahead of time. :) For our last cruise, we figured out how much the excursions were going to cost and bought gift cards for that amount, plus some extra. I put it all on our account before the cruise.

Must...go...to...bed. But there are so many things to look into. I've spent at least 3 hours today buying pirate shirts, looking into FE gifts, and just rereading all our past posts for more info on the cruise. I'm so excited about our first cruise! I just don't want to miss a thing! 99 days seems so far away! :earboy2:

Hi Jennifer -- if you want even more good reading -- go check out disneycruiselineblog.com. Scott Sanders runs the site and posts Navigators from various itineraries -- plus his trip reports give you all kinds of info into what to expect. Really good place to learn more (one of my favorites -- next to disboards of course!). Happy planning! :surfweb:

I love the Disney cruise blog too!!!

It's getting exciting! We have so much going on until after recital mid June that I think time will fly until then and crawl the last month!

Next weekend is silver check in and excursion booking so I need to make sure I've fully decided on what to do with back ups!

Do you think your son and daughter will hang out together in the kids club? My youngest daughter will turn 5 in May and I would love to find a buddy she could play with. She only went in the clubs about an hour a day last time when her brother was there. My 8yo I think is hoping not to have little sister duty lol. He spent all his free time in the club last year and just loved it! I'd love my Tessa to be a little more comfortable this year!

Funny you should say that because I was just found that blog last night. Then I really wanted to stay up and read :yay:

We're really hoping that both our kiddos will like the kids club and have fun hanging out there from time to time. I'm sure my daughter would love hanging out with your daughter. My 7 year old son is a little more shy and can keep to himself but my daughter (5 on the cruise) is super easy to get along with. She's the one the preschool teachers pair the criers with because she has a nurturing way to her. She's my social butterfly and loves making new friends. In fact, I'm glad that my two will be in the same kids club this time...that's one of the reasons why we booked this cruise at this time. We'll have to make sure that we introduce the kids to each other!

Your DD sounds so sweet! I love that she's such a helper at preschool! My 5yo is a bit more shy until comfortable. My DS8 on the other hand is my outgoing one. We will definitely have to try to hook these kiddos up! It's definitely nice having an older sib around in the clubs, I know I felt tons better about it last year!
