Have we ever agreed on where our meeting will be, shortly after we board the boat?

Yes, it's back a couple of pages -- budamacdvcr wrote this:

Got a private message asking about this and seeing many folks hoping their kids could meet, etc. So, DIS Cruise Meets are pretty common on the ships. Normally occur on sail away day around 3:00 which gives folks enough time to meet and then get to the lifeboat drill and then the Sail Away party. So a schedule would look like this:
2:45 / 3:00 - 3:45 DIS Meet up
4:00 - Lifeboat Assembly Drill
4:30 - Sail Away Deck Party

If folks are interested there is nothing we have to do other than pick a place on the ship to meet. A suggestion on where to meet would be the Bon Voyage at the Grand Atrium Deck 3 opposite the guest services desk. Normally plenty of room and folks can either get a tropical beverage (alcohol and non) on the pool deck or grab an adult beverage here.

Note / TIP - Throughout the cruise, If you or the kids want sodas, get these from the self service on the pool decks as you have to pay for sodas at the bars. Regarding the soda self-serv, if you can bring your own cups / containers with a lid / straw so you can get a full soda as the station has small paper cups only.

Sounded like a great idea to me, so I'm planning on our family being at the Bon Voyage to say hello to all of you who come by!! :-)

we saw that post but a couple of spots were mentioned.
Yep, let's do Bon Voyage as it is right off the Atrium and if Mother Nature is not cooperating we will be inside plus here we won't have to worry about areas on deck that are 18+ like Currents. Speaking of Currents, those of you without under 18 & those looking for the adults only are when kids are in the clubs, head to Quiet Cove for the 18+ area which has a bar at the pool plus Currents one deck up over looking the adults pool.

Hi, i have a question about meet and greet, is there a special meet and greet for the kids too? I have a 6 years old DS and he would like to make some friends. Thanks.

Got my FE gifts all put together and labeled tonight. DH told me they'd need their own suitcase lol! If you are in the Mickey group we will plan to deliver on our last sea day :)

Sounds great. I'm not sure if i'll make it - big family group, lots of chaos etc, but i'd like to try!

We'll definitely try to see everyone at the DIS meet up at Bon Voyage. It's our first time cruising with kiddos so I have no idea how chaotic it might be, but I'm planning on meeting up. Looking forward to meeting everyone. :)

Very late to the party! But my DH and I will meet at Bon Voyage for sure! (Well, me at least!)

One time on a cruise meet I suggested everyone post simple information about themselves (discrete) to get to know each other better.

I can go first, and hey, if it's not your cup of tea, don't post!

Me, Kathleen, 54, SAHM, lawyer and engineer in my younger days.
DH, Mark, 53, patent lawyer.

2 almost grown kids -
DD, 17, soon to be high school senior
DS, 20, goes to Univ. of North Dakota. We only see them at dinner.

We live in the Twin Cities, we grew up in LA (hey there Valencia and Saugus ... we lived there once! My MIL lives in Santa C.)

On this cruise, we are celebrating finally becoming Platinum! And we are DVCers.

Hi mndisfam -- Welcome aboard!!! :welcome:
