July 16, 2016 Disney Fantasy, Eastern Caribbean

Yay! We are FINALLY done booking our few things. After a few Disney phone calls, we are set to go. Who knew having a four year old turning 5 could mess up excursions so much?!! Glad we got everything we wanted though :):thumbsup2

A few things!!! First, please can someone remind me what time the Main dining is? Thats what we currently have.
Second, how many of you FE folks tend to take extras to drop randomly for fellow passengers if you see a fish extender along the way? I was thinking of getting my kids to do that little random act of kindness :)
Thirdly, does anyone know if there's a socket to plug in a night light, near the kiddos beds in the staterooms?
Thanks!
Polly xxxx
Main dining is 545.
I'm pretty sure there is a place you could put a night light. There are some sockets on the desk which is the kids side of the room.

5 seems to be the magic age! So much more options this trip now that my DD will be 5 than last time! Glad you got what you wanted!!!

We are at the 8pm dining, We are so excited, sometimes go to the FE board to know others share our excitement

OK, I'm starting to rethink our original plan of eating dinner at the first seating. It sounds like everyone is doing the second seating for dinner. I was worried that 8:15 would be too late for my 5 and 7 year old, but now that I think about it, I don't think I want to go to an 8:30 show with kiddos falling asleep. I'm seriously considering changing to the late dinner. Any thoughts????

With the talk about the times of when we're eating, how do you find out what rotation of the restaurants your in? We have the time just don't know what rotation were on.

We've done first seating both cruises and will again this time. The dining is a big part of our family time and No way it would be enjoyable with little ones that late with second seating. At least for us. My younger two are in bed at home by 8-830 but it's different on vacation and they had NO trouble staying awake for the shows. I personally liked eating first and having time to digest as well. I guess I figured I'd rather they fall asleep in a show than be crabby at dinner but that's just me Every family has to do what's best.

You find out when you check in at port.

That is EXACTLY what I thought. That's why we picked the early time. You just cemented me back in the early time ;) My kids are in bed by 8:00 sharp every night so I just don't think they'll handle waiting for dinner that long, even with a late lunch. Thanks for easing my mind! :thumbsup2

I think it's easy to second guess every decision when you just want the trip to be perfect! I think you will be happy with your choice!

Same here, our son would be a little upset when he doesn't eat early enough. He's like the snickers commercial, your not yourself here eat a snickers
