I noticed I've been getting more and more smiles too. I think the more posts the more smiles you get. :sail:

:tink: She loves getting her hair braided. Well, if someone other then me is doing it!

I don't know if I can wait to see "CARS" until the cruise. I think I'm more excited to see it then the kids. My neighbor and her kids really enjoyed it too.

I did a little more shopping online at Disneyshopping.com I bought a POTC t-shirt for my DH and one for myself. I believe there is also a tropical night on the cruise so I picked up the kiddies some disney hawaiian shirts. So I'm thinking that all I really need to do is work on those signs for our door and pack. Wishful thinking.

Another one with a Kohl's. I'm jealous!!!!

Oh, thanks for the info on the website. I think I will check that out too. I really would like to find some nice hawaiian shirts for the boys too. I have a dress that would work, and DH has a nice shirt.

I NEED a POTC shirt. One with Capn Jack would do me just fine. :lovestruc

Ansky, my boys just finished school on Friday. I thought that was late to finish, but your son is much later. The last 3 days they do absolutely nothing but watch movies all day. I think they are just filling their quota of days in school, but instruction actually ends and entire week before.

Wow! You have all been so busy posting messages I don't know how you found time to go shopping!!

School ended here on June 9th and they go back after Labor Day. DH is a teacher so we know the school calendar quite well. We picked up DH's new suit tonight so he's all set. I've ordered 2 dresses but neither have arrived - I sure hope the fit. I don't like ordering clothes for myself, my measurments never equal a posted size. :rolleyes2

Someone asked about the luggage tags. If they are anything like the tags we get at the end of the cruise I wouldn't worry much about them. I used to travel once a month for work and that tag stayed on for about a year after our last cruise.

I still need to get ds a POTC shirt. Our Disney store didn't have them past size 7 for boys. I might try online but I figured we'd have lots to chose from when we get to WDW - in 19 days! :woohoo:

I finally received a confirmation from Nativeway for our Stingray city excursion. Now I need to figure out how to fax our credit card number to them. I was going to do it from work but they didn't give me an 800 number and I figure a fax to Grand Cayman may catch someones attention. Maybe I will just call them with the information.

Excitement continues to mount! Sadly the trip will come and go so fast  I must not think of that.....

I'm not sure but it might be today only, there is an additional 20% off your order at Disneyshopping.com. Check out the POTC shirts online. I did a search on Disneyshopping.com and it pulled up a few different kinds. I got my husband and I matching ones. Well I got his in black and mine in white.

I actually found Zach's POTC shirt at Sears. I came across it while looking for a tie for him.

.

I think that my posting often is a good thing; otherwise I may talk my DH's ear off about the cruise. He, of course, is better at keeping his excitement under control. I NEED somebody to talk to.....so, here I am . :thumbsup2

I am trying to look things up on this computer, but it is acting up. I get so upset with this thing at times. :badpc: I guess I will have to search more tomorrow for a shirt. I am headed out shopping too, so maybe I will try Sears too.

Well, I think I am through posting for the night. I am going to go over my list of items needed and see what I can budget for this week.

Have a blessed evening all. :wave2:

I think all the posts are great! I'm jealous that I haven't had much time at work to post - it's so annoying when I'm actually expected to do work at work! :confused3

It's fun to read messages from others who are as excited as I am!

The suggested dress for Pirate night is either Tropical or Pirate attire. There is not a separate night for Tropical. With that said, Tropical wear would probably be fine for any of the non formal / semi-formal nights.

I was going to do a recap, but decided to do this instead:Click here for link

I will make it more exciting later, but I wanted to get most of the information out there. If you want to PM me other information or corrections, that would be great.

I agree :thumbsup2

I usually come on at least two or three times a day. I enjoy reading popcorn:: everything it makes it easier to talk to people who share your excitment for the mouse and not think your a little

Because if I could I would talk about DCL and disney all the time but I would probaly lose alot of friends that way. But now I have met people who are in the same "boat" :boat:
Thanks :dance3: (hope that made sense)

Wow!! This great. It is neat to see where everyone is from. I see quite a few of our children are around the same ages. Thank you for doing the update. :thumbsup2

I really have become worried that I am becoming obsessed with this forum. :teeth: I enjoy it. It is the nicest forum I have ever been on. Very welcoming in all areas.

Peace all :hippie: ( had to find a way to use the hippie ;) )

If it wasn't for these board I think my family would have left me by now. I'm a planner and the rest of my gang I guess you can say are spontaneous. I never use to be this way until we started going on cruises. There is so much to do that I just want to make sure I make the best possible experience for them. My joy is sitting back and watching their faces.

I too check the boards about 3 times a day. Usually at breakfast, lunch and then after everyone has settled down in the evening. :surfweb:

I was reading some other boards and rumor has it that the Davey Jones boat from POTC is going to be at CC. I'm not sure for how long, but I'm hoping it's going to be there for us!!

Well I need to get started on the lovely chore of laundry...... :laundy: I sure would love a housekeeper!! At least until after the cruise.

That's ok, I was thinking the same thing yesterday about myself. I was just in a real talkative mood. I think it's a good thing though. This way we can share what we know and give shopping tips (my favorite). I think it will be great to meet everyone. I always meet the nicest people on cruise boards.

Thanks for doing the meet page Thegales!! I am including a more recent photo, the one you have is 4 years old. As you can see (hopefully) this picture includes all of us.

Does anyone know what the best time to get to the port? What time do they start boarding. I'm hearing on other boards that you get a boarding number? That's different then last year.

Here's a pic of me and DH. I'm sorry to say the pic is not on a Disney cruise or at a Disney location. I looked and looked and all the pictures from our disney trips are of the kids. This pic was taken on another cruise line this past Sept. for our anniversary.

They usually start boarding around noon. We are being picked up at AKL around 11, with a planned grocery stop (beer!) I think we'll be at the terminal around 12:30-1:00. This is later than we've arrived in the past but since we have everything booked I'm ok with it. On previous cruises we arrived around 10:30ish.

Like the picture! I had a hard time finding one with me in it, I'm usually behind the camera. :rolleyes1

It is nice seeing everyone's pictures. I would add mine, but I have no idea how I can do it on here. I am a bit illiterate when it comes to using a computer. If it is easy enough to explain, I am a good listener. :listen:

Thanks
