I'm so upset. I picked up my black dress today (needed to be altered on top). It doesn't look as good as I thought it would. I don't know what to do. Since it's been altered I can't return it, I guess I have to wear it. It took her 2 weeks to do the alterations, with only 2 days left there's no time for any more.

Since we are on the subject of coolers, what is everyone putting in these coolers? I'm thinking water and beer. My DH wants to bring a bottle of rum and I would like to bring some wine. We are just trying to figure out the best way to pack those. Since we are driving I figured we could just put those bottles in a backpack. Do you think that would be ok?

DH loves getting rum in Grand Cayman. I read on another board that in Grand Cayman they will not let you take the alcohol with you when you purchase it in port and that Disney does not accept it being sent back to the ship. The other cruises (not Disney) we've been on accepts it being sent back to the ship. Does anyone know anything about this?

I am flying in, but if I were not, I would bring spiced rum (to go with the free diet coke), some beer, and maybe some mango rum also. Anything that I could mix with soda.

I have not heard anything about Grand Cayman, but someone here has told me that if you buy alcohol at a port that Disney will keep it in a holding place of some sort until you get back to Port Canaveral. I have heard different here though. I am not sure who is right.

I think it is finally getting to me. I have had the worst week in a long time, and this all just added to the stress I am already under in preparing for the trip. Now I have no voice. My family is happy, I suppose, but I have to chill or I will just get even more sick.

I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already. My goodness, where has the time gone. I am so excited to get all packed next week. Oh, I am needing those clear blue waters of the Caribbean.

It will all come together I promise. If your anything like me, I stress and stress and then afterwards I wonder why I was so stressed. Just keep telling yourself your going on VACATION with your wonderful family. Your leaving behind all the daily junk. (laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning ect...)

I'm going to do a little each day next week to get ready.

I agree with BTSEN. We are our worse critic. I'm sure you look just fine in it. You actually just reminded me to pick up my dress from the dry cleaners!!

I saw your 'giggle' on another thread regarding 'the fart's kids felt bad' maybe it's just being a mom of three boys - but I totally related to your giggle There now, isn't that a stress reliever.

Relax Close your eyes and go to a happy place take a deep breath and count to 9 because that is when we sail away (hope that helped) If not I always found a nice big margarita does the trick

Yes, the doctor told me that the cure is 2 tickets to POTC. I got them yesterday, because I do not want to chance it selling out. I will feel wonderful by tomorrow evening.

I am sure it will all come together. I am just trying to do too much ( had extra children last night and they were up until 3) Wow!! They were talking and having a good time, but wow, I don't know how they do it.

I cannot wait to leave groc, laundry, this dirty house, and all the chores. It will be so refreshing. Until then I will be

Thank you very much, but I have a small stash of Captain Morgans Spiced Rum ( the little bitty bottles) that I am bringing for night one. I think when we go to Key West I will find a liquor store and see what I can do. I think it will be okay to purchase it there and bring it onboard.

I am really looking forward to some really good drinks. I don't drink a lot, or I should say, often. I can drink a lot if I take the notion. Just the thought of sitting on the beach with drink in hand, and no worries. Oh, can we go now!!!????

Thanks for all your encouraging words about my dress. Mostly I'm disappointed because I'm about 30 lbs heavier than I was on our last cruise. I had lost almost 70 and for some reason I've lost my edge and the weight is creeping back up. My neighbor came down and she really liked the dress. I need to find a substantial necklace for it and I think that will help. Formal night is just too much trouble for a vacation.

On a lighter note I have collected over 60 shiny pennies for Noah's Penny Press Quest at WDW! That will be fun.
