Getting a thread started for the 7/15/12 trip to Canada out of NYC on the Magic!

We (Me - Kristi, DH - Steve, DS10 Matt & DS7 Shawn) just sailed on the Magic Eastern Caribbean in March and can't wait to see the beautiful ship again.

Hello!!!
We will be on this cruise as well.
Myself, Chris 46 and my wife Lori, 39 are on deck 5 in SPH 5024. This will be our 8th cruise I beleive. We will be on the Magic before this cruise. I think it is Feb 18th 2012 for a 7 day Western.

Hey there -- we're on this cruise!!!!! We're fresh off the 4/17 Dream cruise and rebooked onboard. DH is tired of the Caribbean :scared1: and wants to go north. It's me, DH Mark and DS12 (will be 13 next July) Jacob. We've sailed on the Wonder and the Dream and are really looking forward to the Magic. We booked a cat 9 on deck 2. Love the verandah but passing on it for this cruise.

I am jealous that you will be going on another cruise before this one.

My son Matt will be 11 for this cruise - does your son like the Edge? Matt was in the lab for this past cruise and liked it and I think he will enjoy the Edge. How did you like the Dream compared to the Magic/Wonder?

Jacob did like Edge -- he had a lot of fun on the Dream. The new wave phones are awesome -- we were able to give him some freedom but could get in touch with him whenever we needed to.

The Wonder was our first cruise ever -- first time to Bahamas, first time seeing CC. I fell in love with that ship and cruising in general. It was small enough to see all of it and large enough not to feel too crowded. The Dream pretty much looks like the Wonder/Magic on steroids. Same type of decor, but different and several features Wonder obviously doesn't have. We loved the aquaduck -- that was fun :thumbsup2. And the midship detective agency -- cute. Interactive art was very cool. But the larger ship meant larger crowds -- too large for my liking really. The staff worked very hard and were very nice but there are still some kinks to work out on the beautiful Dream. The Wonder had such personal service -- there isn't much time for that on the Dream. We missed that. It's part of the magic for us. We still had a blast and loved our cruise, but not as much as the Wonder. We're looking forward to the Magic and hoping we'll find what we were missing on the Dream. I also love the part about not having to fly to the port :woohoo:

Change of plans here. We have decided to do the 8-night out of NYC on June 2. The day at the parks and 3 extra days kept calling my name.

Have a great cruise to Canada!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

We are on this cruise as well!
We have connecting SPH rooms 5522 & 5524 :)

It will be the 5 of us and my mother, Charlotte, onboard and we are so excited!

DH and I were on the Dream in January and are really hoping they bring the wave phones to the Magic- our DD will be 12 on the cruise and we'll need one tohelp track her down, I am afraid...

The wave phones are on the Magic. We used them, and the kids loved them, back in Feb.

:cool1: I was hoping they would put them on all of the ships- especially since there in no cell service. It is a great way to stay in touch at sea.

Has anyone looked into what types of things there are to do once we are in port?

I think we are renting a car in each port and touring on our own. Atleast thats the talk this week.:drive:

We'll be on the cruise too! We booked onboard the 6/21 Alaska cruise. We asked for a SPH room and Tai, the rebooking person didn't even know what it was! He put us in an inside on deck 2 and we changed our stateroom to a regular porthole. It will be me Megan (15 on the trip, turning 16 the next week), my aunt Sandy and my mom Sharon. :wave2: My mom and I will be on the new years cruise in december on the dream

My family will be on this cruise as well: me, DH, DD19, and DD17 at the time of sailing. We also just returned from the 6/21 Alaska on the Wonder - great cruise!

Megan, it looks like we will be sailing together on the Dream over New Year's too! Freaky that we booked three consecutive sailings on the same dates!

That is freaky! Looks like we're gonna be seeing a lot of each other in the next year!

I'm so excited - we are going to be on this sailing. I hadn't even lookd at NYC cruises because it wasn't practical and honestly wasn't planning to sail until 2013 but my parents want to do a big family cruise and the whole family will be on board for this one!

Greetings everyone! We are just off the 6/28 sailing of the Wonder in Alaska and we booked onboard. Very excited about this cruise as my family emigrated to the US from Nova Scotia!

My family Adam, Deb ( me) daughter and son who will both be 4 at the time of the cruise are booked for the July 15th cruise!
This is our first disney cruise and we are very excited!

just got off the 07/12 wonder & did a rebooking - taking my sister & brother & family - wish it was a 7 day - but will have to see - we want to do a girls weekend before - so i may get 7 day - and the boys only 5 days -

We will be traveling with Stepdaughter and Husband. We loved being apart of the Fish Exchange on our last cruise, would love to do it again. I'm already thinking up some new and improved ideas.

susan, cool, we didn't get to meet - but we were a part of the fe's - it was our first time for fe's & it was great - though we have less time on the ship - hopefully this cruise will be just as exciting -
