I live on the West Shore, but all of these hotels have very easy access to the highways and are only a short drive. I listed a variety of National Chains in case anyone has any preference. I tried to list 1-800 numbers where they were listed in our phone book. My preference would be one of the downtown hotels but they are probably the most expensive. Dont forget AAA discounts, or Entertainment book discounts trhough your Disney Club membership!

and thanks for this information. I guess my fiance and I will be driving down Friday (taking the day off) so we are not rushed getting there Saturday.

And last year when we were in Harrisburg we found this restaurant a few doors down from the Oxford Hall Celtic Shop, any ideas what the name is. They gave us a discount just for providing what hotel we were staying in.

not far at all. right across the street in New Cumberland @ the Holiday Inn is where DH and I had our wedding reception. 10 minute drive. and that hotel is right off of the PA Turnpike. (Harrisburg West Exit)
