**JULY 11, 2010*** Double Dip Wonder!

Mary is better at this, but I thought we could make reservations starting at midnight eastern time.

U-TOP with Sharon and Mary!!!!

Hey Stacey - we could form our own speed skating team.

Now all we need is a county to sponsor us.....

That

!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, the girls from AZ and FL on skates...:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

TAHITI!!! We could be the first Tahitian Speed Skaters.
Of course, we'd have to live there for a while. :rolleyes1

Good morning everyone!

We sail in 19 weeks!

Woo Hoo - we are in the teens!

I am finally starting to get somethings done for the July Cruise. Can one of you let me know what time I can start making reservations. From my memory it has been 2am or 3am. I lose track. Thanks for your help. :confused3

Good Luck Sharon - I thought it was 3:00 am - that is midnight in California........'
Sharon - just saw Stacey's post - did not see an answer on the FAQs section of the Boards sorry. Unless they have changed it - I remember having to get up in the middle of the night - as opposed to staying up until midnight.
Sorry I cannot help more.

See...this is where I end up getting in trouble for trying to answer questions! Half the year, I'm on California time...the other half, us Arizonans (Arizonians?) are on our own.
I did see a thread on the Main Boards by a Gold CC member complaining that there weren't any spa ressies left. I get tired of seeing the same old questions over and over and over. They DO open more. People just have to be patient.

I thought booking time was Midnight EASTERN (so 11 pm Central, 10 pm Mountain, and 9 pm Pacific).

As for the person on the main board. Well they waited until the morning to book and they are on one of the Baltic cruises which means probably a higher number of repeat cruisers.

STACEY

did your post say MAIN BOARD ?????????????????

NOW WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you get told ??????????????????????

YEAP WHAT I thought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm off there!!! I've taken a sabbatical. I promise I won't go back until after I get back from Nebraska. Of course, with limited internet access, I really CAN'T get on the DIS much at all. :rolleyes1

Very confused now????

A Gold CC booked - but my package said that I cannot book until March 28th (I will go back and check - which is 90 days out) ?????

Yes, that is what it said March 28th -- and I am gold??????

The CC Gold comment does not make sense...The poster seems to think that the members have booked more than one Palo brunch - unless things have changed since 2008, the system will only let you book ONE brunch.

Did we ever figure out when Midnight was? I sent DCD an e-mail and we will see what they say. I hope I did not steer Sharon wrong....

For us newbies, isn't it 75 days out to book anything?? Guess the chance of seeing Palo is pretty small, huh? Oh well, I'll still try. Can't believe it is only 132 days away. DD has a chalkboard and is counting down the days. She is vigilant!
I know this isn't cruise related but I am so proud I have to say it....my DD just came home with a straight A report card!:cool1:

120 days out is 3/13 (Platinum)

105 days out is 3/28 (Gold)

90 days out is 4/12 (Silver)

75 days out is 4/17 (First time cruiser)

I believe booking time is Midnight Eastern time.

Irene - let me know if you hear differently from DCL.

Another thing to keep in mind is that they don't always release all of the available Palo and spa online.
You can still (if you hurry) book something when you get onboard.
The only thing I'm not 100% sure of is where to book Palo. I know that they usually handle all of the dining change requests in Wave Bands as soon as you board, but I'm not sure that includes Palo.

You must be Gold then. I know that I don't hit Platinum until after this cruise.
I have on my calendar to get online at midnight on the 28th...at the end of the day of the 27th of March.

Another one!! U-TOP with Irene! Extra PDFG!!

Midnight -
This is the response from DCD for when Midnight is determined.
Sharon - not sure when your DATE is but it is midnight our time.

Thank you for your e-mail.

I am happy to assist you!

Pre-reserved services are able to be arranged beginning at 12:01am (Eastern Time Zone) on the date the services open, based on system availability.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you!

Congrats on DD's report card.:cheer2::cheer2: We like to celebrate our "Diskids". See, we have claimed her already.

Don't give up hope for Palo dinner - there are 5 nights for Palos. Brunch will be hard as there is only one sea day, and Brunch is only served on the sea day.

And as the others have said, you can also try to book on board.

My suggestion - and others please chime in here as well - is that you decide what you think is the most important to book at the 75 days. Have all that information handy and ready. Look at the DCL website so you know where things are. You may wish to save them to your wish list.

Then - when it is the bewitching hour, go on line and book the first one and then "accept it". Stacy or Mary -what is the correct term.

You don't want to key in a long list of items and then push accept - in the past this has created problems. For example, if there are only 50 spots left and there are 100 people planning on grabbing the date and time, it may appear when you first access the page, but it will be gone by the time you accept, assuming you are booking more than one event. Why do I know this? Because it has happened, which is a great thing about these Boards. We can pass along tips.

Also, there is so much to do on Disney that does not require the reservations you will have fun regardless. Especially on your first cruise. Even if you go go go 24 hours a day with no sleep, you will still have things to do. So if you do not get something you have planned, move onto the next item on the list.

This may be your first cruise, but it will not be your last - right :thumbsup2

I think it says click "Confirm"....but we didn't book anything last summer on the Tortola cruise, so it's been a while. :confused3

We NEVER stick to "cruise related"!!

BRAVO!!!!! GREAT REPORT CARD!!!
