Loved the opening ceremonies. Well except for the part where the one leg of torch broke. Wayne Gretzky looked a little befuddled then. So sad that they had to start the games with a tragic death.

The Magic was big news on the main board over the weekend. I was reading about it but don't know how many others read over there. Well Stacey does if there is a smoking thread. Love you Stace!

Stacey spent waaaay too much time on the Main Boards last week, and has decided to try once again, to stay away unless I can offer something helpful.
I had more than my share to say on one of the threads about the Magic being held in port at CC. Pretty interesting, the whole thing.

We really loved the opening ceremonies. I think they did a beautiful job and also a really great job of honoring the luge athlete.

We noticed Gretsky looking a little worried, too, Mary. Too funny.

Thanks for posting the link. I looked but did not see...but I was looking at the main Cruise thread.

I can attest to the high winds. I thought we were having a minor hurricane on Friday night. It was wicked here. We had to bring a tall cane palm inside the deck area as it was about to be blown to bits.

Olympics are GREAT. I love them...I am getting no sleep, but I love them...

We are seriously looking at booking this cruise. We have a ressie in place for next September and are not going to be able to make it in September. Of the choices out there, this sounds like a great cruise to be on. We are waiting for our TA to get back from Arizona to change everything. It will be a trial run for our New Years 2012 double dip trip on the Dream.

I'll go back through the pages and try to figure out what is going on. I see there is a wedding, FE's are just being discussed...I need to go back through and try to catch up a bit.

We are me( Linda), DH Mike, DD Michelle 14 at cruise time and DD Laura 9 at cruise time. This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise. DD Michelle is very social and loves to meet all the kids on the cruises.

I look forward to chatting with all of you.

Irene I'm right there with you. Was watching Men's Figure Skating last night while online. They kept talking about the upcoming news so I thought it was closing in on 10 pm. Nope it was 11 pm! Needless to say I finished watching the Olympics but skipped the news.

Sorry I can't help in the kid department. I'll be sailing with my DH Mark and we are big kids with no children but we love DCL. We're doing the Alaska cruise the week before you next year.

Hi Linda! This will be my first Disney cruise and I can already tell I picked the right one. These guys here are wonderful people! I don't know what I am looking forward to more, sailing away or meeting them! They are a lot of fun! As for the kids, my DD Jim and I (Susanne) will be sailing with our daughter (Alexa) who will turn 10 on the cruise so maybe Laura will have someone to pal around with. Honestly, it has been on my mind lately. She is such an awesome kid, really social. I was praying she would find someone her age to do things with. We invited her best friend along but the parents said no. Not understanding that one but to each his own. Hope you decide to join us!

Good Friday Morning all --- The scrapbook marathon has started. At least, the box of 2006 cruise momentoes has been opened. Now all I need to do is sort, crop, paste and otherwise arrange. And it was a 3 day!!!! Geeezzz.

Meanwhile, we have had a computer crash since I started, these photos were recovered but we now have a new computer and have changed to the MAC. So I need to learn how to edit and create all the special effects with the new program.

How do you crop a picture in the shape of a star on MAC?

Nothing like the present to learn.

Cute pictures though. Lisa and Bugs were on this cruise in 2006.

Time to head to work right now.

I had one favorite photo editing program in my old computer, which I'd copied from the even older computer....and I can't even remember the name of the program, let alone find the install disk. I'm not happy. That one was so easy to use, and all the new ones just confuse me.

Well, it looks this is going to be a real fun cruise, but we decided to do the Halloween cruise. We truely wish we could do both but we can't. We'll have to catch another double dip in 2012.

Again, looks like you all are going to be having a ton of fun.
