When we had those awful fires a couple of years ago, we went ahead with our trip to Vegas. Nothing much we could do.

Now this is just plain freaky - I had not even logged onto the thead when you posted this. And yes, the house will survice fine, but the Mother will be a few says shy of 90 when the kids are hitched and she will not survive on her own - to say nothing of the pets....so hence we are nervous about booking during the windy season. But July is still early. Right now, I am still on and think we may take the risk. The worst that happens is that we cannot sail....
