Oh that is good to know-I feel like there is a whole new language to learn when cruising. I am not sure I am up for participating in the FE, but I like the idea of chatting with others who will be on the same cruise. Should I post questions here or elsewhere? Not sure of the etiquette/protocol.

Booked this trip while on the Wonder in Alaska (Amazing cruise and I highly recommend it!!) This will be our 5th Disney Cruise - 2nd time on the Dream (my fav) I will go check out the FE list! So excited!!

Just got off the Dream yesterday and I have to say that is was the best cruise we've ever taken! It was are first Disney cruise and we are hooked. We booked on board to take advantage of the 10% off and will be joining you guys July 10th. Have to say it can't get here soon enough. It will be myself, DW, DD (7), DS (4) and DS (4). Looking forward to chatting it up with everyone.

Hi, can I tentatively join you? I have booked the flights, but not the cruise, and am desperately hoping there will be a GT rate (else we'll be doing something else for 5 nights in Florida ).

We are me (Jody, 30), DS17 and DD16. Assuming we manage to get this booked, it will be our 5th cruise, so we'll be gold afterwards (and am told we have to go on one more to get the coveted gold lanyards!).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. If no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, perhaps someone can start that right in this thread.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to organize the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.
