The B-day is this weekend - Easter. I get to hit the big 5-0. How is it that I get older but never seem to grow up? (I jsut grow grey, gain weight, increase wrinkles) I look in the mirror and wonder who the old guy is. My 44 inch chest and 30 inch waist exchanged places last decade. I'm really worried with what happens next.

I asked my wife when I should start with my mid-life crisis. I wondered aloud when I should buy my sports car, search for a young girl-friend (of course, she'd have to not have good eyesight). Then I realized how much effort that would all be, so it won't happen.

Lent is almost over. Now it is time to put a bottle of vodka in the freezer so that Sunday night I can drink to old memories which I will soon forget anyway.

I had a wonderful birthday. At my mother in law's house, my cake was picked out by my 6 year old niece. She chose Tinkerbell - chocolate and white cake with vanilla frosting.
At my dad's house, it was a banana cake with Mickey surfing an Minnie sunbathing on the beach. No black ribbons, no over the hill banners, just bright colors and DISNEY!!! Who could ask for more.
Maybe I need to rethink my age. "Hi, my name is John and I'm 5." Zero doesn't mean anything so, I'm starting over at 5. Yeah, that's it.

I got the dolphin encounter. I am so sunburned from today I cannot sleep. One cabana left for the adult beach so didn't get one. I think I heard Destiny telling me in her sleep to book a massage as my Mother's Day gift. I've never had one and don't know which to book. Still not sure about the sting ray thing, do you guys think I can book that once on board?

Is there anything else I should be thinking about now?

I think the registration is all that is needed for now. Im not entirely sure about check in, as we are international visitors I have had to give passport details etc. I dont think there is anything else we need to do at the minute. Did you book a massage for yourself?

I also had trouble with the online check-in. It kept telling me I had to wait until April 26, which it already is. But later this morning was able to do it, although I don't think it's that important to be checked in right now. Being a first time cruiser, I just went ahead.

You can always send yourself small on-board credits until you have enough to pay for the massage before the cruise. That is what I am doing for my bamboo massage. I am also thinking about sending myself a bottle of champagne as a Bon Voyage gift.

I think I might. I will decide this weekend. Do you have to pick a day/time? We arte doing Blue Lagoon. How do you send yourself credits? Do I need to pay for the excursions upfront or can I do that onboard?

Why dont you set a countdown? Royal wedding fever is kicking in over here so I will be occupied for the next few days and that will keep me from obssessing about the cruise

I don't have anything booked for her except she is registered at the kid's club. We are also late seating for dinner and plan on some naps during the day.
