She has decided to try her hand at "singing" with her punk rock band *snicker* *snicker* . She looked really scuzzy and I bet she would get along fabulously with Courtney Love.

I bet Regis and Kelley told her she was amazing! They must hate having to listen to terrible performers and then have to tell them how wonderful they are.

Juliet Lewis is one of those performers who I think is an good actress.. I love the way she can totally envelope a character. Loved~ The Other Sister...

However.. and this is a Big However.... everytime I have seen her on a talk show I am floored how strange she seems to be. She seems completely spaced out and dumb. I know she probably is not.. but she sure comes off that way in interviews.

What she did can't really be described as singing but perhaps that's the point, lol. If I thought she was a good actress, I'd say "don't quit your day job" but I don't find her acting appealing either. R & K do seem to get the up and coming music groups - most I don't know at all. Of course I must watch til June 10 just in case I get a chance to win the cruise giveaway!

Yes, it was weird to say the least. She kept screaming into the mike, and didn't sound good at all. She needs to stick to acting, someone PLEASE give her a acting roll SOON!

I agree that she is a good actress but her singing is terrible! Of course Regis and Kelly told her how great it was. I don't know what gets into these actors who think that they can sing

Quite frankly I thought she looked and sounded like a train wreck!

I didn't see it, but I can imagine. She's one of those people that I really wish would go away. I don't consider her to be a good actress at all. All of her parts are the same. And they're the same as what her personality seems to be like when I see her in real life. With the exception of the Other Sister. But, I can't stand watching people portray mentally handicapped people. I thought she was awful in that too.

That's so funny because I turned the tv on in the last five mins of that show and she was singing, but I didn't hear them say who it was. I did glance up and listen for a minute and was thinking, Is that Courtney Love on there? She's not very daytime!

well.....it wasn't as bad as I was afraid it was going to be! They just went to commercial....then they're going to talk to her. (I have it on TIVO....)

I agree with whoever said about actors who are really strange when being interviewed. Some of them are MUCH better speaking words that were written for them, rather than their own words. lol

Again, regarding the music, I honestly didn't think it was that bad. Her voice isn't great...but if it were the late 70's or early 80's and I was an older teen/ 20 years old, I'd probably like it.


Ok, just saw the interview part.... Other than R & K gushing over her, I think she sounded normal. It seems that she and her band are "paying their dues", playing in small, out of the way venues, traveling in a bus or van.

I don't know....I dont really see anything wrong with her. She sounded normal, didn't sound like she was on drugs or anything....

Good for her, for trying something different

I didn't have a problem with her performance, personally. Just a rocker, but she didn't sound bad. I'm glad she's following her dreams and wish her the best =)

She has actually been singing with her band for quite awhile. More power to her. Bet none of you could sing any better if you tried. I know I couldn't.

As for her interviewing skills, I think she is very prolific and has a lot of interesting things to say. She was on VH-1's I Love the 80's and 90's and I found her to be very charming and funny.


Just goes to show, to each thier own.

I heard some stuff from her CD (Howard Stern played it one morning). I have heard worse. Most of the songs sounded the same.

ive recently listened to a bunch of her band's new music. (Juliette and the Licks). and i dont think they are bad at all. as far as the screaming thats how the music is supposed to be. it is supposed to be a quirky indie rock band. i personally like it.

but i am kinda weirded out that Juliette Lewis is a scientologist too.
