Oh, Julie, I hope that you can get some rest soon. It's good to hear that you were able to clean out the apartment, but sad to hear that you have to find room to store it and are getting very little help.

Well, today sure hasn't been as planned, but hasn't been bad.

Up at 5:30, did 3 loads laundry, DS19 came over from about 9 - 11:30. He spent Sat & Sun almost entirely asleep, so he says, but he does look more rested than I've seen him in weeks. Showered, changed, ate. We did talk for quite a while and he was pleasant.

Then I tried to take a nap. Didn't work as phone kept ringing with our 'phantom fax' as we call it. Don't have a fax machine set up. So, I decided I would go do ebay. As I sat down, I got a 'ding' on SW. Not planning any more trips, but decided to look. It was all from/to ABQ and had to Orlando for $66. So, I want to see DNiece's new baby due 10/17. Thought maybe we could all go for Thanksgiving - fare not valid. Started looking at my calendar and every weekend is full except halloween, and DD is off school for Fri & Mon. So, I quickly called DH and got his ok, and we are all going, and going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal one night. We've never been and I know they'd all love it - me, not so sure, but, I'm game for just about anything. I just want to see the new baby.

So, I got airfare booked, 1 night hotel at Hard Rock, HHN tickets purchased online, hotel for the night we get in as it will be too late to drive to DSis. Now I just need rental car and reservations for Mia & Max at the kennel.
Rental car will depend on if DS19 decides to come. I bought an airline ticket (on separate reserv) and a ticket to HHN just in case. Air I can cancel and keep the credit for Gym travel. HHN ticket I'll sell on ebay or give to DNiece in FL (not the pregnant one) so she and her DH can go.

Do I really have the money for this? No, but we are doing it. Now I really need to get busy on Ebay.

DS19 opened a pack of cheddar sausage and ate one heated. It smelled good, so I ate one w/o looking at the package......7 points!!!!! OUCH!!! But all I've had today is that and a donut (5), and a can of diet sunkist. Dinner will be something little - probably a frozen WW meal.

I'm totally exhausted and every muscle in my body aches from all the moving stuff, buy my bug is in the garage. I still have another load of dishes to do and pack up, and probably 6 - 8 loads of laundry/pillows/bedding/throw rugs.
Then, I can begin doing my own chores.

DS19 isn't sure what he's doing, where he's living, etc, but I suspect that after a few days he will come back here. Gotta get pretty old, sleeping on someones couch or floor. Time will tell. Meantime, all I can do is hope and pray he gets his act together.

Time to run take DD to DH for fencing. Tonight I was going to take my much anticipated bubble bath and relax, but I need to fit ebay in now as I've spent the afternoon planning another FL trip. But it was fun!!

Dropped DD w/ DH for fencing. Had 44 oz cfd coke and 2 lt bread, rf pbj sand (5) and 2 cookies for dinner (3) while in the bathtub, reading a book. Please, DON'T get the visual!!! My bathtub is like a large pickle barrel - an oriental soaking tub. Can't stretch out, but is about 3.5' across and about 4' deep.

DS16's 'friend' called while I'm in the tub and asked if he can go to see Batman with she and her mom & dad. So, he's just now headed home after leaving at 10:15 this morning for work, gym, movie. Tomorrow after I get everyone out of here I have to drop my car at the dealer at 7:45, wait for a shuttle to bring me home, then get the shuttle back to get car & take DD to the first HS fencing tourney. Hopefully she will do ok. So, I must get ebay done early tomorrow.

Wed is package/mail day, Thursday dentist and friday another fencing tourney.

Gotta go try to get the last 2 today listed before DS16 gets home and I have to fix him some dinner. Praise God for Microwaves and Frozen food!!

Tomorrow I'm going to try to leave early enough for the car dealer to pick up a coffee for breakfast. I think I even have enough stamps for a free one!

Can anyone here explain to me WHY I try to plan my days??????????

So, I get up this morning, move DS19's next load to the dryer and start a load. Oops, I need to wash an Ebay shirt before I mail. I have searched the house and IT IS GONE!!!!!! Spent 45 min, late leaving for the VW dealer. What is usually a 20 - 25 min drive takes me 1 hr 20 min. Then the shuttle home has to go 40 min south of town to drop someone, and 3 other stops in town before taking me NW. I just now got home and it's almost 11 a.m. I left at 7:15. Still can't find the blasted shirt, and if you could see my house, you'd probably drop over. Ebay alone has 8 huge containers upstairs, DS19's stuff is all over, plus a number of boxes I need to haul to goodwill. It will likely take me all day to find this one thing. UGH!!!!!!

I won't pick my car up today, I'm going to have DH drop DD at the bus stop in the morning then come back around to pick me up on the cycle to take me to the VW dealer as it is only about 1/2 mile from his work. I can walk if he is running late. Tomorrow he has to lay 3 people off so I know he won't be in a good mood.

Tonight is the first HS fencing tourney and I have to be gone from about 3:30 - 4 until almost 9.

Calgon, take me away!!!!!

YEAH!!!!! I found the shirt!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!! It had fallen between washer and wall!

Now to package the gifts for my pups 'secret pals' for the gift exchange. I know, I'm WAY too doting on my pups. Hey, they don't talk back, they don't get into trouble w/ the law and they give lots of free kisses!

Breakfast was a decaf and a scone (6). No idea what I'll have the rest of the day. Off to get some water before I dehydrate!

A Plan???? What in blazes is that????????

So, tomorrow I was planning on DH taking me to pick up my Bug. At about 4 the dealer called. They had not even taken my car back into the shop yet. So, it definitely won't be done tomorrow, and if they don't get it in until 12, they will call and get me a rental car. UGH!!!!

Lunch at 2:30 was a subway wrap (4) and cf diet coke. Dinner was...... a subway wrap(4) and cf diet coke. I never did get any water today, just cf diet coke. ICK!!! After fencing we went to Baskin Robbins $1 scoop night and I got 1 scoop of SF LF choc choc chip. They actually goofed and gave me 2, but I stopped after 1 and saved the other for tomorrow. (Big round of applause, ME, giving up chocolate! )

So, DS19 comes over about 3 and I get stunned. I'm downstairs in the laundry room. (My house has the lower level 1/2 under ground) I hear "mom, are you here?" " I brought you a present" And down he walks carrying a BABY. Needless to day my heart skipped a few beats. After a very (pardon the pun) Pregnant pause, he says Mike and Brandy(F) are upstairs. This is her and ____ son Isaac. I knew you liked babies. Then I could breathe again. DD had the same reaction. She comes in about 5 min later and sees DS19's car in the drive with a carseat, bottle and baby blanket and doesn't want to come in as she thinks it is DS19's baby we are just finding out about and that I am going to be going ballistic. I guess some things really could make the current situation with him worse. Cute baby, tho.

Fencing tonight was ok. Boys team won 5-4, girls lost 5-4. DD of course blames herself. I see great improvement since May, but she says she sucks, hasn't improved, but everyone else does and had a pity party that drove me nuts all the way home. She thinks she's no good unless she can beat everyone. NOT!! and she is NOT a very good sport when she loses. Hopefully some day she will outgrow this. Next tourney is Fri.

Tomorrow is layoff day so DH is not feeling very cheery tonight. Fun Fun.

Guess I"d better go list ebay and try to make some $$ for the FL trip.

Glad you found that shirt! I was thinking about it earlier this eve at my staff meeting when one of my students was talking about ebay.
I hope it is ok to say that I had my own terrified for you & then laughing at your tale of DS19's "Present". hehe

Yep, terrified, mortified, stunned, shocked, stupified,.....and just about any other adjective of surprise you could possibly think of. And then, I, too, laughed. Yes, I want to be a grandma, someday, and NOT in the near future!! Babies are wonderful, just not when they belong to your own child who can't care for themself.

Today will be another busy one. Reality Check.....When have I NOT had a busy day????

Package & mail ebay, Bread store, grocery for at least milk - I think mine's sour, think of a dinner DD's friend will eat(her parents work together at their own business and have to go to El Paso today/tomorrow) List ebay so I can maybe get some $$ before FL. Probably make at least one trip to the car dealer, package the pups secret pal gifts. Sometime I stiil need to work on DS19's laundry and clean up my house a bit. Sigh......

Today is layoff day, so DH is very not happy this morning. Besides laying off 3, he needs to figure out where to be all day so if he is walking around, others don't get nervous and worried just from seeing him knowing what is going on. I told him to hide in the cafeteria with his laptop and work from there. Who knows. Rough day for him.

Off to get started. This morning is definitely an oatmeal and decaf morning. I need warmth!

Sometimes things approach normal.

With all of yesterday's happenings and a guest, I decided we would go to dinner at Cracker Barrel when we went to get DH cycle from the VW dealer (he picked up my car). About 5 min before DH walked in, DS19 comes in and announces his car is broken down. And the night before he got stopped for expired tags (have been waiting on the title so we could xfer to him). And he didn't have the current registration in the car, and when the cop on loudspeaker told him to turn at the next corner, he got flustered and ran the light - triple whammy!! 2 of them he just needs to take the documentation down, the light he will have to pay $75 and go to the class. So, he is here to dig thru some of his stuff to get some DVD's & Games he can take and sell to get some money. A job, how about getting a JOB!!!! Needless to say I didn't want to leave w/ him here, so we didn't get to eat dinner until almost 8 p.m. He & friend plan to tow the car to another guys to see if that guy can figure out what is wrong. WONDERFUL!!! I finally got to bed about midnight and up at 5. I'm hoping for a nap.

I was supposed to get the inlay for my tooth today and of course it's not in and the dentist is leaving on vacation so I can't go until next week. The temp gunk is holding, but if I bite on anything it really hurts. Oh well.....

I was starving at cracker barrel and had 1 biscuit, 1/2 muffin, and a veg plate w/ hb cass, broccoli, carrots & beans. I also ordered a baked potato, but was very full, so that is lunch now.

Weight is holding steady at 169. I'd like it to come down a little before my DR appt on the 26, but not bettting on it.

It's my fencing night so I need to try to get some ebay done before, but I'm really gonna try to nap.

Well, another unplanned day.....

DD came home and we ended up not going to fencing. She was tired, cranky and had lots of homework. Didn't bother me.

I tried to get a nap ...didn't work as usual. Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

Tomorrow I have to hit the fabric/craft stores looking for something to cover the 'run' in the fabric on the dress DD wants to wear to Homecoming. She's never worn this, talked me into buying is, and I Knew the fabric would run. Hopefully I'll find something acceptable quickly.

Need to list ebay, too. I'm just not getting enough of that done lately....can't understand why!

I WILL exercise tomorrow. Somehow.

Then tomorrow night is another fencing tourney.

This weekend I MUST clean the upstairs of my house. The clutter is driving me NUTS!

I hear ya about eBay! I've been trying to get motivated to get stuff listed. Of course, my camera and my scanner aren't cooperating, but I'm thinking next week will be the week I get back into the game. Gotta raise some money for Disney!
