Juggling MK opening hours and early morning BOG ADR

On our trip in October for a day we are going to the Magic Kingdom we booked an 8:05 ADR at BOG so hopefully we could get out of breakfast before park opening at 9 and ride Seven dwarfs. I know sometimes they will push park opening to 8 so to be on the safe side we also booked a 10:30 BOG so we don’t miss out on rope drop. This day already has late night extra magic hours scheduled. Does anyone know how likely the opening hours are to get moved up with late night magic hours already set? And how far out from a certain day will the opening hours usually be set for good?

Did you check any historical calendars yet? They can change hours right up until the day before.

You may not want to say, but any chance you can provide the specific day? It’s a bit hard to generalize since sometimes specific dates/weeks matter when looking at hours.

According to Kenny’s 2017 calendar the MK opened at 8am that whole week.

Yeah, that same Wed last year (and the whole week as PP mentioned) had 8AM openings. Granted, past performance isn’t always indicative of further results when Disney park hours are concerned!

FWIW, there is an Early Morning Magic event the day before (10/9) at MK, which guarantees a 9am park opening on that day. Having EMM that day/week is different than last year, where EMM was not offered that week.
