Judy's Life of Change

hey judy, i know you're gone, but i wanted to stop by and wish you a wonderful trip! hope you have/had a great time :bounce:

:wave2: Hi Judy,
I hope you are enjoying your cruise :boat: !

Hiddy Ho All,
I'm back from a relaxing 4 night cruise. I gained 2 pounds. I am back on Atkins induction for another rwo weeks so that two pounds should be gone in no time. I have also decided to join the Mothers Day challenge. Extra motivation is always good. Todays menu is as follows

B - 3 egg omlette with 1 oz grated cheese and 3 strips turkey bacon

L - 2 hamburger patties

D - will update after it happens.

As always...it is good to be home. I thought of my WISH buddies often. Especially when tempted with bread and deserts. I did have some of both but not like I would have done in the days of old. I am pleased with my food choices anyway.

Side note - I ate tons of fresh fruit since I was on a break from Atkins. Boy did that stuff make me sick! Tummy aches and bathroom breaks.

I will try to get caught up on everyones journal by the end of the weekend. I am already back at work.

Welcome home Judy,

Sounds like you had a good time. Those 2 pounds will disappear quickly. I hope your tummy feels better. So how's the transition beck to the real world going?

Take care.
Beth

Fruit.....yummy!!! Too much of a good thing can still throw you off kilter, though! :( I hope your tummy is all better, but all that fruit must have had lots of healthy vitamins, minerals, etc. that were good for you!

Welcome back to reality - hope the transition back is an easy one! :sunny:

:wave2: Welcome back, Judy!
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your cruise. I'm sure those two pounds will be gone in no time ::yes:: . Have a great evening :sunny: !

Thanks all for stopping by. My husband has gone to Texas on business and DD has gone to Florida to see old friends. I can't ever remember being home alone like this. It has really hit me hard. My babies are grown and I am not so young any more. I headed to the kitchen. Boo...Hiss. Tostitos and brownies for dinner all washed down with rum and coke. Definately all bad choices. I did use caffeine free diet coke though.:teeth: I slept terrible last night. Up and down. I walked the floor. I definately don't like being home alone. And to think I was excited about it. I will be glad to see meet my DD in Mobile on Friday night.

Todays goal - stay out of the kitchen!

4/11/04

Just got back from a weekend in Mobile. Way off track. Time to really buckle down. I don't want to sabatage all that I have done. I have been to the store and purchased lots of meat and eggs. Back on induction starting tomorrow morning.

Well, I never !!!! My oldest daughter called me yesterday and sprung the news on me that she too is getting married. Oh, by the way Mom, how is May 29th? Oh great that gives me a little over a year to plan everything. NO Mom, 6 weeks and 6 days from now.         Children should not be allowed to do this to their parents. Oh, and Mom....the wedding is going to be in Ohio. Anyone want to adopt a 20 yo DD? Ok, so now I get to change my signature to......

:bride: Mother of the Bride

4/17/04

I'm so busy. I need to focus on healthy snacks this upcoming week. Easter candy is a bad thing. Weddings are stressful. Life is good.

:wave2: Hi Judy,
Sending some :wizard: to help you stay away from the Easter candy ;) . Have you tried the new salads at Subway yet? They look delicious ::yes:: . Hope you have a great weekend :sunny: !

Hi All,
Thanks for stopping by Val. The new salads are awsome. The atkins sweet as honey mustard dressing is my favorite. The garlic almonds are great too.

I am not currently following my Atkins program. I am sooo stressed out. I am just trying to eat smart and maintain onederland. I will try again after the wedding. Being the mother of the bride is definately more stressful and expensive than being the mother of the groom. Hugs to all my wish buddies.

Sending a  and some extra de-stressing :wizard: :wizard: for you! Take a deep breath every now and then.

I'm sure that after the wedding things will get much easier. Until then, just try to hang on for the ride! :sunny:

Hey Judy...........yeah! I think my mom would agree about the mother of the bride/ stress thing. She had three daughters and two of us got married within two months of each other. Talk about off the stress charts! It was supposed to be a double wedding for my twin and I, but my twin and her DF had broken up for a couple of months. Then when they got back together, plans changed. I still tell her that I would have wanted a double wedding. It would have saved my parents oodles of money and stress.

I have two daughters so far, so I'll probably be paid back someday. :teeth:

Good job on the maintaining. Sometimes THAT alone is a gift, right?? Take care. :sunny:

You only thought I fell off the face of the earth. I am still alive and well. I have slipped a little. Hubby has decided to join me on Atkins. That should really help. So....today is day one of induction again. I want purple test strips! I am not going to get on the scale until May 16th. That way I know I will have no problem keeping my onederland clippie. I am also going to get on my treadmil twice this week. Only 27 days until the wedding. Almost everything is done. I am finally starting to get excited. This has really put a stopper in my Disney budget though. I sure hope I can afford to purchase our annual passes. I'm glad to be back and I am looking forward to reading everyones journal and getting caught up on your lives. Take care and God Bless.
