Judging has started!

Hi,

I was in a room that was judged. They had a purple flag. He said that Hula and flamingo came in. He was judged around 8:30-around the time that Hula's host event was suppose to start. I wonder if all judging will be done during host events? There is no quest or event open.

I just hope I am in the room when the host/judge comes in. I sat in my room almost all day today and it was nice to visit with old friends and new friends who popped in to say hello.
I will have my room open tomorrow from 8am pst until 4pm pst. I may be afk but all Dis friends are welcome to come by. Just search:

Edit: I am taking a small break but i hope to have it open again by 2pm pst. thanks for all who stopped by this morning.

Good to know! I sat in my room all day today. As I sat there, I saw things I wanted to "tweak," but I was afraid to make any major changes in case a host walked in to judge when things were in between "before" and "after" change.

Here's my theory:
We all waited all day and looked for any sign of judging taking place today, but saw none until host event time. At that time, Hula was seen. Tonight it was Hula's event.

I am truly believing that judging is going to take place in lieu of host room events for the next 2 weeks and that it will only take place during event times.

Note: I have NO CLUE if this is true or not, just my theory.

Nice to know the games have begun! Thanks to all of you who popped in for a visit today. It was great to visiting with so many of you. Likewise, I enjoyed seeing so many of your rooms as well.

Thanks ScooterJake! Sorry I missed you my friend. Yes I had to actually face real life, and go to the grocery store for about an hour yesterday.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Like I said, the best part of this entire room building competition is that it puts you back in touch with your friends who stop by to chat.

I have to agree....Ant, you have such a creative room, I love it!! It was nice to stop by and say hello. I have a few friends I will be sending in your direction bc I just can't explain the room, they just have to SEE it.
It is my favorite that I've seen so far!!

This is not meant to leave anyone else out...I can't say it enough times that I am SO impressed by the creativity!! I also was complementing many DIS'ers rooms only to realize they were afk but for those who were there, it was nice to say hello to some familiar ppl and see the great rooms!

aengus, loved your parade but guess I'd have to sit there all day to see it finally get moving bc that lava solider at the front just didn't want to move his feet. idk if it was bc he was too busy picking up candy or if he was wearing some lava green flips and didn't want to get any snow in them...

TiDoubleGer, I believe it was your room with the really cool balcony...nice to sit and chat for a few and such a cool room.

I hope to see more rooms today, I'm really having a great time seeing them!!

Flags for past competitions are also not tradable, so this is not really a surprise.
