I love Henry's shirt, it's adorable.
Thank you! That shirt is from a fellow-DISer!

I have always wanted to find one that says "M (Mickey Head) M", but haven't...and I've so far been too intimidated to dive into making our own shirts.
Awww - I think Barnstormer wore Henry out!!! Although he was really brave it seems. And even though that ride is for kids, it's a crazy coaster - we love it. I don't know if I would have even attempted it until I was much older than Henry
It is a crazy coaster! Joe and I were surprised at how fast it was! We both loved it too.
I have a feeling it will be another year or so before Henry will want to do it again. I don't blame him though!

I want to ride it in December though because of the refurb - I still haven't heard word for sure that it's going away, or are they just re-doing it?
Wow, what a wonderful update! It seems like you accomplished a lot during that morning at MK! So many rides for Henry and a dut-dut!! Even if it was a fake one!
So sorry that he did not enjoy the Barnstormer, but I can imagine that it is a bit scary for a two year old. I think it is cute how Henry seems to get into the rides much more now, do you think he will remember this trip in December when you are going to be back? Did he recognize things again during this past trip??
We really did accomplish a lot that morning! Something about being there at Rope Drop time. A new thing for this family.

I liked it though!
He is VERY into the rides now! He tells us which ones he wants, which ones he liked, etc. It's really fun. Before we would just him on it and hope for a reaction.

I think he does remember the trip at least a bit because every time he sees a picture of the Castle he says "Mickey" (we told him that's Mickey's house during the trip...

) and then he says "more". I also randomly show him some
YouTube videos of things and it seems he remembers at least a bit. I'm sure the memories will fade as he gets older though.
He didn't seem to recognize anything from this past trip, from the previous trip. I think his memory really developed a lot between the trips. (18-24 months)
I'm sorry everyone--gotta attend to "the homestead"---more replies later!
