Henry was literally dancing around he was so excited. He would take a toy off the shelf, play with it, dance around and pick another. Much shrieking, much excitement, much running around. He also found a plastic claw/shovel type toy, the claw was Mickeys hands,
that he insisted on having a death grasp on. Not sure I understood the awesomeness of the shovel, but hey, Im not 2!
Joe and I just hung around, played with him, took turns shopping ourselves and we all tried on some hats that were located near the Cars section.
Rastafari Momma!
I put the Hat on Henry thinking he would rip it off, but nope!
*Note how he now has TWO shovel things...
This boy was FULL of energy that night!!
He woulda worn that hat all night!
I took this pic for Wigd, she was looking for this Mickey...

Joe and I discussed purchasing him one of these many Cars toys for his birthday since his party was just a couple weeks after our trip. (Its nice to still be able to discuss getting him something without him fully understanding what we are talking about!) There was a car carrier that had a bunch of the cars from the movie that he really, really liked, and kept going back to. We almost purchased it; but then I remembered we only have carry-ons...where would it fit?
We found out it would cost $15 to shop home, and after some debate back and forth, we opted not to get it. Instead, we would get him the toddler bed set I had spotted at Target back at home, and we would let him select one cheaper item from the store.
But what to pick? Should we get the beloved shovel? Seriously, what would he do with this thing? Hmmm
Then I spotted em.
Cars plastic squeeze bath type toys. 5 of the characters in one bag. Can be used for the bath, in the pool, or wherever.
tiggrbaby had mentioned these toys on my PTR, knowing that Henry would love them. SO PERFECT! Thank you!!
Henry was elated when I showed them to him. And so were we. A much wiser, and much cheaper purchase with an equal amount of happiness from the little one.
I sincerely think this was one of our best toy purchases ever. These Cars get a TON of use every single day.
After our purchase we were ready to head back to CSR. We didnt even think about going into Goofys Candy Company, despite our zillion snack credits with the QSDP! No candy covered pretzel rods.
At the bus stop
Raise your hand if you love the fact that there are even themed soda machines in Disney World!
Henry happily played with his new toys
He insisted on holding ALL of them.
and Life is a Highway came on over the speakers shortly before the bus arrived. This is Henrys song. Its from the movie Cars when Mack (the truck) is driving across country to California with McQueen in his trailer. After a while the song fades out and the part where Mack falls asleep and McQueen rolls out of his trailer begins. I once reenacted this scene with Henrys Mack and trailer, and since then, its been his song. I cant even tell you how many times a day I sing it Mommy! La la and thats my cue...!
Anyway, the song came on and Henry instantly started swaying and dancing in his stroller. Joe and I sang along to Henrys encouragement. Im sure we were quite the sight! But who cares? We were all lovin it!
Back at the resort, both Joe and I had remembered we decorated the window, so as we got close, we asked Henry, Which room is ours? and when we rolled up to it, he pointed and shrieked.
Ya, it was cute. Such a Mommy story.
But, there were a few visitors in our window!
The Mousekeeper had placed Henrys toys in the window! He was sooooooo excited about it, so I sent him and Joe in to take pictures of him retrieving his toys.
It was so sweet, Im a sap!!
