Day 4 added family members-now have two with scooters

I have been waiting for this day for so long. I called last night for a wake up call so Mickey could wake my Dad up. Mom and Tracy were up early because their scooters were delivered that morning. My husband returned the golf cart he said with no problem there was keys drop off at the bike barn. My parents planned to spend one day a piece with each daughter and her family so today was our day. We had the younger kids and my Dad and Mom wanted to see MK through their eyes.
The rest of the family also decided to go to the MK that day. We were all at the bus stop
By 8:20 that morning. I had watched how they put the scooters on the bus prior to this so I could talk my mom through it. We had two people in scooters and other then taking a little more time to get on and off the bus they had no problem. The bus drivers were great help also with explaining to Mom and Tracy how to maneuver into the bus. I think it helped also because Mom and Tracy can walk just not long distances and Tracy balance is really bad but they are able to get off the scooter for periods of time so the bus driver could put both scooters on one bus with them sitting in the bus seats and not on the scooters. We were dropped off at the settlement and picked up the boat. The scooters just drove right onto that.
We got to the MK just as the opening ceremony was finishing. We stopped to get Blue;s autograph and then the three familys went there separate ways. Mom, Dad, and my family of 4, head to the Haunted Mansion. After the Tower of Terror last night Jake and Karsen chicken out and Joe follows them out. *** note I am not going to go into anymore detail about the scooters and getting on rides if anyone has questions just ask I will try to answer the., We had no problem with the scoter but like I said mom could park it and get off to get on a ride.*** Mom and Dad and I do the Haunted Mansion. Next we hit Its a small world and Peter Pans flight. We has PS for CRT, Jake wanted to stay with Ben so we meet Tracys family at the Carrousel and traded children. We took Kayla with us and Jake went with Ben to see Buzz Lightyear. Before we went in we got a Fastpass for Mickeys Philharmagic.
CRT all I can say is Wow. All parents out there with little girls will understand me. I told Karsen we would see if Cinderella would let us eat at the castle with her and when I got the PS and I was doing my I got it dance in the diningroom Karsen woke up and came down. I said Karsen we get to have breakfast with Cinderella. She said Mom I know, she already invited me. Well DUH!
I have to say we really enjoyed this character breakfast. The food was good the waiter was great and the smiles on my daughters face was well worth it. It was also nice to have Kayla with us. Just sitting in the castle was neat. I had two magic moments during that time. Princess Aurora is my daughters favorite. She was one of the last princess to come to our table and my daughter was shacking she was so excited the look in her eyes when she saw her was priceless. Then when we were leaving we stopped to see the Fairy Godmother, there was a little girl ahead of my daughter and the Fairy Godmother was playing with her hair. My daughter jumped out of line and threw her hat to me. My mom saw her do it and motioned to the fairy godmother to touch Karsen hair and she did.
Tears two times in less then an hour. We meet up and exchanged kids again.
Next we went on the carrousel and then headed to the Philharmagic. They were having difficulty so we waited about 20 minutes in the queue area. Even with that it is my favorite show/ride in WDW. It was unbelievably cool. Next we headed to tomorrow land and walked got a return slip for handicap I think it is like a fasspass for Buzz Lightyear and walked onto Space Mountain. Karsen did not make the height restriction but this was Jakes favorite rollercoaster. We then went to Buzz Lightyear and headed over to Adventure land. At the SFT my daughter had her afternoon meltdown. I put her in the stoller and left the group to head back to the cabin she was asleep before we hit the front gate. The rest of the group did MCofA and JC and then caught the parade back.
Our group of 12 planned to have dinner together at the cabins each night. It was very nice. ** I will be posting in the resort forum all about our cabins**
My family and Uncle pat, Ben, and Kayla went back to MK that night for the fireworks.
Karsen and I hit the Magic Carpet and the JC while DH and Pat did the BTMR.
The fireworks were great and we loved seeing Tinkerbell in flight. We followed the advise on the forums and hung out until the parked cleared out and took some great pictures with the castle in the back changing colors. One word AWESOME!
