JTA EMH or non EMH day??

We will be going to disney at the end of Aug and on the "to do" list is the JTA for my 6 yo. I was wondering about people's experiences and recommendations on whether to do this on a day when HS has extra Magic Hours or not. We tend to avoid the park that is doing the am magic hour and go to rope drop at another park but, I did read a post of someone that said to go during the early magic hour. Any experiences or insight would be great. We will have an annual pass so we would probably park hop in the evening to avoid the extra crowd due to the EMH. TIA

If you arrive well before rope drop, it won't affect your ability to do JTA on either an AM EMH day or regular hours day.
Sign up as soon as you enter the park on either day.
Just know that JTA does not actually "perform" during EMH, just the sign-ups take place.

Laying it out a different way... You and other guests will be heading for JTA sign-up, first-thing, on either morning.
