James wish coordinators/granters/angels... inadvertently now MY angels were here at the house today.
I Don't even know how to begin on this. I am in awe and shock, I am so grateful beyond words, It took every ounce of me to hold in my tears ! I mean EVERY ounce of me. Um slight fail but I did good sucking them back in until after they left. You see I have had this worry on the brain where school is about to begin. NO way on this earth was I going to be able to get the kids what they need. Just was not going to happen this year, Last year my mum in law stepped in and was a godsend for the kids, and This year she was even feeling the pressure of wanting to help and unable to do so, and it's not even her job to be doing so. My mother was wanting to help but also unable to do so, I know they also felt some of the stress I was feeling. So these Angels that have come to help my son. Have not only helped him, but my daughter, my husband , myself, my mother and my mum in law as well. A pressure is off and the kids will be OK. Cry ! You better believe I cried. Tears again of thankfulness, tears of awe at just how generous this group of people are. I met a very sweet man today as well, I have no idea who he is But you know He took his time to travel to my house to bring my daughter a mattress. He has no idea who we are, and I have the value of time, so here a perfect stranger took time out of his busy schedule to do this for us. I say us because my son even though he has a bed, refused to sleep in his while his sister was without a proper one. Again, my children rarely complain. Also, a group of wonderful girls heading off to college decided to share some clothes with my daughter.. OK some is an under exaggeration ! I just can not begin to tell you in how many ways they helped my family today. Not just James wish Coordinator, everyone that was here at my home today, and many that we have never met. OK this was a long intro for the day and I know it so let's see if I can give you a bit of a rundown.
Kids of course knew they were coming today and tried very hard to help me out as far as making sure house was neat, I always get nervous when people come to the house always have always will. And with not feeling so well, harder for me to move around atm.
Katelynn even made a coffee cake ( I stole a piece even though I wasn't suppose to as a taste test earlier in day.. Oh Yumm it was very good)
James has been in an off mood for a few days ( this will be important later) but did try to help too.

They brought each kiddo a personal gift James was given this skateboard that literally made him do a 180 on his mood and that is no joke ! But he was still anti social :/ lil brat But I guess with the excitement he had to call one of his best friends his longest running best friend who is also a skateboarder to share in the excitement of this amazing board.. Allllllll night long he has talked about this board. ( wish I fully understand what he was saying... They need to offer parents a foreign language called teenager who boards ) And when he had a moment he was away from it for 5 seconds he would run back to it and just re-ogle it all over again... Um Psssst it's next to him now as he sleeps Very cute I tell ya ! Skateboarding is one of James favorite past times, even when he has an off day and hurts right now he will still go out and at least stand on board and talk with his friends as they do tricks. At least he gets fresh air
Katelynn, loves to take pictures it was always a massive hobby for her, ans guess what ! She now has a camera. Now, I have to definitely share this. I was in shock today, absolute shock, my quiet little daughter (ok not so lil but still little) is usually very passive, quiet shy you name it. One of the very nice women we have met with Chris offered to help Katelynn get the battery and card into the camera, oh she offered so sweetly and my child BOLDLY says no that's ok I know how to do it, VERY quickly. WOW um wow. Ok This is how I know she is beyond excited about something. And the fact she usually waits till no one is around before she starts to open something someone has given her, No not today she dove into it a short bit later and started to open things up/charge battery. Oh and BTW, My daughter is up still behind me humming up a storm and of course playing with the camera still. I asked her when I woke up why you still up? she says I dunno I just can't sleep it feels like Christmas well, she is sure right this was better then last Christmas that's for sure. to give you an idea it's quarter after 3 in the morning lol. Ok so my kids 2 favorite hobbies covered Oh and another way to know Katelynn is happy... is when she is off humming to herself she has done this since she was itty bitty. She's doing that non stop! All evening the kids were laughing I just have no possible way of putting this all into words so please forgive my length.
OK so after everyone left, Katelynn was into the clothes that was brought, They were hardly out of the driveway !!!! and she was already taking a look see
Let me back track a moment, I need to add myself a reminder to make sure I have some tissues on me when we go to the room in GKTW that has the stars in it. I could see from the passion when it was spoken of that it will be a life etching moment. I could see the compassion and heartbreak and love when it was being remembered. ( I presume remembered, By look when it was spoken I am almost positive it was an experienced moment)
Kids father got home and they of course had to tell him everything and James wanted to drag him up to go get a helmet.. James had a stipulation with the skateboard and a gift card was to make sure he bought himself a helmet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH Ty Dream Factory for this one! I have been trying begging pleading scolding ordering you name it for that kiddo to wear one... as kids call it that was an epic fail.. But since it was a stipulation from His wish coordinator/angel he did it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY YAY YAY She also told James that this card he could spend how he chose.. He come home with a camera for Mumma
And We can also start packing small things here and there because we now have something to pack with LOL oh seriously I can not tell you how speechless I am with all this.. ( I know my babbling sure doesnt seem speechless but to be able to put into words what it is I am feeling and how grateful I am is virtually impossible. Once I have a bit of time to absorb all this , I usually end up writing poetry, Writing to tell a story or diary style is not my strength, poetry is. WE will have some pictures for you in the next day or two, Katelynn wants to take a pic of her bed set up and I know Katelynn will take pictures of James skateboarding etc just bare with us, we will share !
Oh, and I also needed to share this, one of the women had their daughter with them, young one and oh goodness is she just adorable,well behaved and she looked so excited to help too, she even helped carry items into the house without a complaint, sooo cute. And she let me give her a ½ hug and thank her too, I never know if it's ok to hug cause I know my daughter was a non hugger and I try to respect that
but Oh goodness what a well behaved sweet child she is
I know I do not have everything listed from the day, If I tried it would take up another 3 pages so I will stop for now. I can never express my gratitude enough to everyone involved in making this trip an absolute dream for James and our family, This is to the Dream Factory, this is to the people on the Dis-boards and everyone in-between who I may never see their face or meet, could even be as simple as a person along the way who took a moment to donate, someone that had no idea who they would be helping but had done so, its amazing to think about how the generosity of so many have given my kids something that they had lost, Laughter , Playfulness, That Xmas morning feeling that I know everyone has had at one point that my two have not had for years. Oh and this spark of relief , less strain less worry that I have today is a gift in itself. Thank You , I will never say it enough Thank You.

I saw her facebook site today and she has a lot of those style of pictures taken with her friends .. guess goofy is in 
me food LOL
