Can anyone provide insight on what to expect for Joy & Sadness wait times during the last weekend in January? My plan was to see them around noonish, but everything I'm reading makes me think RD them...

Suggestions? They are a priority this trip for DD age 4!

It was usually around 45-60 min. But I heard they are (or already did) get rid of the backdrop to move the line quicker.

I think noon would be the busiest. I'd go in the morning or later in the evening

It always seems to be a long wait, so if it's a priority I would go at rope drop. The line kind of is what it is, it's not like Anna and Elsa, where they seem to have a really good system, meeting separately/more than one set of sisters. The line for Joy and Sadness moves pretty slow. When you enter the line here, you can see exactly how long it is, so if you see 20 families in front of you, you know you're going to be waiting at least 40 minutes.

I would go early or just before closing if it is a priority. We got in line for them about 5 minutes before the line was cut off at park closing. There were only about 4 families in front of us, but still took a good 15 minutes.

We did Baymax, Joy & Sadness at rope drop this week. Did Baymax first, wait was around 5 minutes. Then Joy/Sadness, and the wait was around 15 minutes. Done both by 9:30am.

Where are joy and sadness? We did baymax before although I don't remember which park he was in.

All 3 are in epcot in the character spot. Right near where mickey and friends meet. Their all pretty much right there together

We got in line for J&S shortly after 9:00am the week after Thanksgiving last year and the wait time was already 45 minutes.

To get in line at J&S at "Rope Drop",you have to arrive at Epcot well before 9am. Every time i've been to Epcot the CMs are letting folks in 20-25 minutes or more early. On the day we went to see J&S, we were in line at the tapstyles at exactly 8:40am and folks were already in the park.

FWIW, Epcot was more crowded that week than we had seen it before. A lot of the crowd was due to the Candlelight Processional.

They really need a FP for Joy and Sadness!!!! Except at the two extremes of the day - the wait is always like 45 minutes to an hour!
