Hey guys

I have a FP+ for the Character Spot to meet Disney Pals in Epcot. I was expecting just to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc. But I just read they have Sadness, Joy and Baymax there too? :) Does that mean you get to meet them all with my FP? Or I need to make another line for Sadness Joy and Baymax?

Thanks!

Joy, Sadness and Baymax meet in the building across from character spot. There are no fastpasses. We waited 45 minutes on Saturday- it was worth it!

Your FO will only allow you to meet Muckey, Minnie and Goofy. There are 2 separate lines after that....one to meet Sadness and Joy, the other to meet Baymax.

You will meet Mickey, Minnie & Goofy with your fastpass. Joy & Sadness are in a different location and Baymax is in the same location as Joy & Sadness but has a seperate line.

FP+ is just for Mickey and Friends. Joy/Sadness and Baymax both are their own queue neither of those queues have FP+

That's a pity! I was getting excited! Haha. Thanks everyone for the info!

Is the line for Sadness and Joy usually too long in the morning (10 am)? For a No-EMH day in Epcot around mid-August?

We got in line at 9:06am on 6/8 and waited almost 50 minutes...

Yikes! Was hoping to head there at RD and have the wait be shorter. Oh well, they are on our must do list for us since Inside Out is a favorite of our 8 yr old. Thanks for the heads up!

In the breezeway between the two buildings you will see a sign with Character Spot in the one side and Baymax, Sadness and Joy on the other side. Baymax moves fairly quickly but Sadness and Joy meet was a long wait.

Can anyone report on how the early morning waits are now that Soarin' and FEA have opened?

So, is the Baymax line separate from the line for Joy and Sadness? Or is it the same line for all three like the one for Mickey and Friends?

Different lines. You will see Baymax as you come in as well as his line. You enter another room for the Sadness Joy line with queuing and then when it's your turn they take you in to another room.

This is once you are in with them. On the other side of that purple wall is a room with a big queue line. You enter where I am standing and then exit far side. Look to right you see people entering the queue to left, they are line up even outside. That brown wall far off is the room/area where Baymax is.

Good to know. I would like to see Baymax but really don't care for Joy and Sadness. Thank you Hopperfan.

For the Baymax line, they'll ask you to remove all buttons and wet ponchos. I had too many buttons and didn't feel like dealing with the poncho so DH stood next to Baymax and I stood next to my husband.... with my hand alighting on DH's shoulder gazing happily from afar. :)

How are the lines during the late night EMH?
I would like to know that too!
Baymax is the only character my kids want to see.
We will only spend one evening at Epcot and there will be late night EMH on the night we visit.
I wonder how long the line will be for Baymax during Illuminations and EMH

We waited in line for Baymax in the morning about 20 min. For Joy and Sadness at night about 7:45...took about an hour.

We did rope drop on June 9. 9am opening, entered through the IG at 8:35. Were held in the breezeway until 9. Parked the stroller just inside the door and got in line. We were about the 5th group in line and waited maybe 10 minutes.

Joy and Sadness were on top of the my preschoolers list at epcot. I was there last month rope drop 840ish, waited in breezeway for 10-15 min and then we were second in line. Once we parked the stroller and remained second in line I think we were done before 9:10. At 9:10 there were at least 10 -12 groups lined up and I imagine that is close to an hr wait since they take 4-5 min with everyone.
BTW, The line was kind of forming in the breezeway and the CM with the rope there had us form an actual line after I asked if this was all for Joy and Sadness. Glad I asked because some people just thought it was a line to go to the land. Best advice I can give is be at rope drop and once you come to the buildings ask the CM which line is for them.. I know they are signs there but based on my experience, chances are the CM will just have everyone line up behind you :)

(my observation is based on a friday in early May, crowd day was a 5 on tp)
