Well the gas bubble feeling lasted steady from Sunday Morning thru last night. This morning is seems better, but still not all the way normal. A couple of times the pressure on my diaphragm was so bad & around my lower ribs I thought I should go to ER. No pain, just bubble pressure. Not really any heartburn, either. Mu stomach still is feeling 'full' after eating or drinking anything, but I THINK it's on the mend.
I'm wondering if it's a bug, gall bladder, or something. I was bad & had eaten GREASY potato chips, fast on Saturday. Plus DH & I ate at the casino buffet on Saturday.
Of course, the 'bloat & belch' is also a part of lovely peri & all my other symptoms have been MUCH worse lately. Been skipping more TOM & last one after 2.5 months missing was almost nothing so maybe I'm nearing the end. They say it's gotta get worse before it gets better, right?
That coupled with stress, lack of sleep, & I'm of course imagining all sorts of wonderful scenarios - heart attack, stomach cancer, etc. Lovely mid-life panic!!!! When my sane mind takes over, I know it's not likely at all, but.....
So, it's now Wednesday & I'm just getting on Ebay. Haven't really exercised as I've been feeling too icky. Weather here is HOT & for us, humid. With our swamp (evap. cooler) and the humidity, the coolest possible my house can get is 87 which is NOT cool, especially when combined with hot flashes!
To add to the fun around here, DS18 & I went to the other side of town to pick him up a black dry erase board, then 1 grocery. At the 2nd grocery, bought milk(which is like gold around here) and frozen food. Went out to start the bug & it made a funny whistle, then died. I think it's the starter. Fortunately, his GF older sister was home & came to rescue us. Had to call DH home as he had the van. Took DD to work at 4, then waited at the grocery until almost 6 for the tow truck to show up - said 30 - 45 min. VW called, my factory warranty was up in Feb, but the extended MAY cover 'something'. Will be 3 - 4 days to diagnose, then they call me, then the extended warranty co., then the warranty co decides what they will pay for & FINALLY they'll start fixing. UGH!!! Always something. Hopefully I'll only end up with my $100 deductible and the cost to replace my headlight. Time will tell.....
Such is life. More later....hopefully!
