Journal questions

Last year I had journal pages printed and bound at Staples, but that got a little expensive. I was thinking of making the pages I need into a photo book. I have read that many people so that for the Epcot passport. I thought the 8 by 11 size would work great, the problem is the photo books all seem to be landscape, not portait. I checked Snapfish, Costco, Artscow, etc. I was curious what others do. Anyone have any suggestions or can you share what you did? Thanks!
