Anyone done this excursion recently? Worried there is not much discussion.

bump. I heard they weren't doing this excursion now. We go in May and are interested.

We went to JVD back in January. The trip to the Island was nice...took about 40 minutes so swim time there was limited. The walk where we needed to be took a few minutes but wasn't that bad. The time there was pretty good. Some of the natives that worked at the other huts were pretty loud and the language well......was a little colorful, especially since kids were on the beach. But other then that, we had a great time. Would I go back....probably not. If the excursion is still on, do have a PainKiller. That drink is out of this world!! Happy Cruising.

As a PP has noted, cruisers on upcoming sailings in the near future have been contacted to let them know that their Jost Van Dyke excursions have been cancelled. This could be a temporary issue or not. Thread link below.

We had booked this excursion for our Spring Break cruise and it was cancelled just a few weeks before our cruise which was disappointing b/c then all the other stuff we'd been interested in booking was already booked full. So irritated, esp. being Platinum and getting to book stuff first on a busy Spring Break cruise.

We are on the Fantasy at the end of July. Just booked our Port Adventures last Friday and had picked this one. I got an email on Wed this week that the excursion was changed to not include lunch, was only a beach day drop off.
