I thought we were done with disney but we are NOT! 😂 I need to go back. Nothing makes me happier.

We can't risk going in September again. I get too high strung about hurricanes. It's really not low enough crowds to be worth all of that extra stress. Unfortunately, we don't travel during flu season and most months outside of that are likely so so so much busier than September. What are my best odds here for manageable crowds?

May, June, July or August? We can't do the last week of August though. Thank you!!!!

The following is not my personal experience as haven't been during that time but...

Of those choices I've read May is generally the best. Fewest schools are out for the summer until the very end of that month. The later you get into the summer the more schools that are out and that generally translates to higher crowds.

Early May is good but hot. Personally I think September is still the month to go. The fear of hurricanes is much worse than the actual threat.

If you don't want those months, I'd suggest taking a second look about travelling during flu season or in September. Hurricanes are pretty rare at WDW and you'd be perfectly safe on the very off chance it happens. Flu season is what it is, travelling won't really change anything. Do what's best for you and your family, but I think you're really limiting yourself needlessly.

Having said that, any time during the summer is good. We love summer at WDW. It's hot, sure, but you'd expect that. Crowds are generally lower than any other time of the year. The week of July 4th is a bit busy, but nothing crazy. So anytime from May-August will be good. Just beware the 15s are there during July, if they bother you.

I would definitely choose May. I will never go to WDW again in June or July due to the heat. And I LOVE WDW, but just not happening!!! I've never been in August, but I would think it's just as bad, if not worse.

Since you were fine going in September before, then the heat/humidity of the summer months shouldn't bother you. That being said, my pick for the lowest crowds from what you mentioned would have to be May, the earlier the better.

15s stand for the Quinceañera crowds. You can look up Quinceañera on Google. And yes, this is something that will affect crowds levels at WDW.

we always go mid august...average crowds, as many Florida kids head back to school....it is hot though...but we love it then.

It's not that it has much impact on crowd level, because IMO it really doesn't. It's more about the disruption and "annoyance" they can cause. They travel in large packs, which can clog up a queue pretty badly, especially if they have a FP+. They also like to chant loudly as they go through the park. They often travel arm in arm or hand in hand and sometimes that "pack mentality" will take over them and they've been known to bump through people. Individually, in my experience, they're mostly very nice girls. But in a pack it can be a...uh....challenge. You learn to just avoid them for the most part.

I'm jonesing too!!! We often go in July and it's hot but we take midday breaks. Crowds aren't too bad.

I've been every month, each has it's challenges and issues. Of your choices, I'd probably go May. The weather isn't as hot and the summer showers aren't as bad. Tail end of F&W and I love me some F&G. As far as crowds, I don't think there is a time any more when it's not crowded so any time other than the last two weeks of the year or any holiday, should be o.k.

We went the 2nd week of May for 10 nights. It was wonderful. Crowds were manageable and the weather was good - warm ( 80s ) and only 1 day with rain.
