Hey guys! I'm on the cruise now. I only get to come on about every other day for 15 minutes, which sucks. xD But atleast I get to go on at all, not like the last cruise. xD
The boys won their award at KCA?? Yay!! I can't wait until I get back, then I'll find a video of them getting slimed. That'll be great. xD Also, they looked great! I couldn't stop smiling looking at the pictures, I think everyone in the internet cafe is getting weirded out by me. xDxD
Oh yeah, and Camilla is seriously pissing me off. What's her deal with the tennis player dude? I hate seeing one of the boys unhappy, and since Joe has been like that ever since he got with her, well that makes me not like her lol. xD

ps everyone -- some awful computer virus is supposed to launch at midnight tonight, so make sure your computers are safe, dont open any weird emails, dont click on any weird links, etc etc. my school emailed me FOUR TIMES reminding me to do a virus scan. i'm like "geez, i know, i know, i'm doing it! stop emailing me!" xD

“What is Conficker.c and what do people fear it may do?

Conficker.c is a worm, a malicious program thought to have already infected between 5 million and 10 million computers.

Those infections haven't spawned many symptoms, but on April 1 a master computer is scheduled to gain control of these zombie machines.

What happens on April Fools' Day is anyone's guess.

The program could delete all of the files on a person's computer, use zombie PCs -- those controlled by a master -- to overwhelm and shut down Web sites or monitor a person's keyboard strokes to collect private information like passwords or bank account information, experts said. More likely, though, said DeBolt, the virus may try to get computer users to buy fake software or spend money on other phony products.

What can I do to help protect myself?

People who use antivirus software should check to make sure they've received the latest updates, which also could have been disabled by Conficker.c. “ from CNN

Conficker Virus Alert



There has been some excitement on the media recently about a new wave of Conficker virus infections (or the activation of dormant ones) happening after April 1st. Conficker is a very resilient infection, once it gets hold into a computer network it becomes very difficult to eradicate.



Basically, one infected computer will try to re-infect clean computers, steal admin account information and prevent security tools from running, including antivirus. The Trojan will disable the computer’s ability to start in safe mode and to receive windows updates. It will then became a part of a huge network of Infected computers, all of them capable of sharing new versions of the malicious software with others using P2P technology. The final use of this huge bot net is unknown at this point.



We can assure you that any computers with Panda Anti-Virus protection installed, updated and active will be protected against any current known variants of Conficker, including version C, which has been around for some time now. But unprotected computers can cause havoc on our network, performing DOS attacks against network controllers and trying to re-infect any computers on the same subnet. Correctly protected computers will not get infected, but you may see detections by the Panda protections as Panda defends your computer against the malware.

yeah i'm doing my panda full scan right now...it takes like 2 hours though so my computer is running reallllllllly slow. but it's 56 minutes into it so hopefully it will be over soon.
