OH, i forgot to tell y'all that Jonah pt at school is going to bring up a gait trainer to him on Monday. This is will help him with his trunk and head control. It will also serve as a walker for him. Since he is wanting to stand, we thought it would be good try. Also, his teacher, nurse, and aid are going to be throwing him a birthday party on Wednesday, so I'm going be spending most of my time at school next week instead of packing, but it'll be worth it though. We are all just excited about the possibility of him getting to use his legs.

I'm usually not this busy but it gets me out of the house. His birthday is Nov. 25. We'll be at DHS and Animal Kingdom for his birthday. They did tell me he's going wear a crown.

That is so cool that y'all have the same birth date. Jonah's teacher's husband's (does that make since) birthday is the same as Jonah's birthday., happy early birthday since we're not going to be here.

He flirts all the time too, it's quite cute to see him light up when he sees a new girl. Our head volunteer brought 2 teens with her that had gone through the training for kids wish to kids (i think that's what's called) it's where teens or tweens go through the wish training and can help with other kids wishes. It was so neat to see the young girls getting involved and Jonah loved the attention.

I hope to see you at the candy land party too.

I"ll get pictures later (i promise) Jonah is having an off night right now so he wouldn't be to happy in the pictures right now, but I am going to post pictures of the shirts.

On to Jonah's awesome day. His PT at school brought out the gait trainer and it was a few inches to tall for him so she is bringing out another one tomorrow. He didn't seem to be fussy at all while he was in it. We all think that once he figures out how to use it and move his legs he's going to take off. This time last year or even the few years ago we didn't think it was going to possible. Now everyone thinks he's going be hard to keep up with once he learns how to use his legs. It brings tears to my eyes when I remember what was said to us 5 years ago (december 24) and look at him now. He rode the horse today and sat backwards with the therapist and her helper holding his arms and he didn't fall backwards or forwards like he did even 2 months ago. I can only pray and hope that his progress continues on this path. He is my little sponge right now just soaking up everything and anything we put in front of him. He was in his stander while the wish volunteers were here and the little boy who HATES having his hand put in macaroni actually put his hands in it and played I couldn't believe my eyes. My little baby is not my little baby anymore he's my BIG BOY. O.K. I've gotta go love on my kid now before i start crying and this has really gotten to long anyway. I was just thinking about how far he has come. Thank you for letting me share. I didn't get any video of him in the trainer today because it was to big for him, but I'm hoping to get some tomorrow when he gets fitted

I am so excited for the future for you guys. Not just your trip, which will be wonderful...but for after you get back. I am so excited that you seem to have a good group of folks at Jonah's school that want to help you guys AND that he seems to be doing better!! That is great!!

I am so happy you like them. It took me a while to find matching colors that had short sleeves. Utah stores mostly have only long sleeved t-shirts these days. I had hoped for red because you had said that Jonah liked red but navy blue was what I could find. Please have a wonderful trip and enjoy every minute. I have really had a busy and in some cases difficult fall. Seems like after our wish trip, my life kind of fell into a frenzy! I am really intending to work on finishing our trip report and hopefully it will be soon. Right now I am getting ready for Thanksgiving for about 30 people at my house so that is adding a little to my stress. I am really excited for all the upcoming trips and though I don't post often, I do keep reading when I get the chance!
