I read the postings put on the original J & K board and I also look/listen to at the interviews of Jon. Usually, when I hear it out of his mouth (and he is the one that said he spent 14 days with the kids), I figure at least about when he's with the kids, he's telling the truth. Plus the paps are back, so the pictures have started, and well, he's in them, at their house and Kate is in CA when they are taken.
I try to be on team kids, but I do admit my team Jon went bye bye the day he came in form work and said how glad he ws that he didn't have to stay home with the kids. And then he became a SAHD for a short period of time..which he wasn't fond of again according to him. I am not happy that Kate (and Jon, since he is allowing it again too) will be putting the kids back on TV, but I see that really, it doesn't matter what she does, what type of show, if she's pushing out a book, dancing, doing some stpid Twisted show, people say she's doing it wrong. So I assume she figures (and I don't know this with any facts), the kids like it (her words, not mine) she might as well do what she does know.
Jon agreed to the document, and now IMO, he see's an easier way to get money, by becoming the primary custodial parent and hoping for support money. He had his chance to fight for them, he gave it up. I don't get at all why regular agreements of when visitation should be was not settled, unless that was somethign he gave up, perhaps for more money. Maybe to keep something quiet. I have no idea.
I actually, except for what they say in interviews have no idea how much time they each are with the kids, if they have friends and family over, if they are on the phone with them often when they are away. The kids appear to be happy and healthy. I don't care what the parents do, I just wish they would not make it public. If Jon wants to sue for something, why not sneak to court and do it. Why publicize it and have your lawyer on TV, if he was (I didn't see it, so it's just what I read). I haven't heard Kate say much of anything against Jon..I thought it had quieted down. I do think he's got next to zero chance of changing the decree as far as primary custody, before the two years are up, but if he's broke they may need to revist the support.
DMRick- you definitely seem to have a lot more info regarding them than I do and I sense you are on team Kate so I will only clarify this point I made:
It was made very clear when she was announced as a participant on DWTS that she said the kids would be with the nannies while she is in LA for the live shows. I feel that is a power play and not with the children's best interest at heart. She has publicly stated that she feels Jon is a good father so why is it even a question who is watching them while she is away.
