Jon & Kate + Eight Debate

I know a lot of you have (at one point) followed Jon and Kate's television show. I personally love it (when the children are that adorable, annoying parents can be tolerated). However, the advertisement for the season finale is suggesting that trouble is ahead....

What do you guys think is going to happen?

I think it might be a separation. That woman is so critical and mean. You can't always have stuff your way and done your way. That's just not the way life runs. She makes me mad. He looks sooo defeated all the time. Kara (spelling) is soooo her daughter.

I sincerely hope that for the sake of those kids the show is getting cancelled, but I fear that they are also headed for divorce. Kate is just soooo out of control. She seems to have no regard for others feelings right now. At least from what we see on the show.

I saw pictures of him plastered with college girls on another thread so I wouldn't be surprised. I voted that they are just trying to get more viewers. I doubt that its anything...

My friend and I now feel that Jon going out and being "caught" on film out and about was a publicity stunt......just my two sense.

They are probably ending the show because that new show table for twelve premiers right after their finale. The voice over on the commercial said something like you've seen what it's like with 8 kids now see what 12 are like.

But I think the trouble they are alluding to is different from that.

I agree! I think they just edited it that way to get viewers to watch, but then again I think they are headed for seperation eventually. Hopefully they will announce that the show is too much for them and it is being cancelled, but the teaser did say that it was the season finally not final finale? I think they need to take what they got put of the show so far and be done with it and work on their relationship and their family.

Yeah, that's what my guess was. I'm really bummed because I've fallen in love with the Gosselin children. I want to see them grow up! But I watched "Twins, Twins, and Sextuplets" last night, and I think I'm really going to like Table for 12. The parents look like a lot more fun and seem to have better discipline techniques (they're also older and have more parenting experience... and their twins are old enough to really help out). I loved how the mother handled the marker on the counter top.... Kate would've FREAKED.

I am sure it is absolutely nothing. If it was a seperation or divorce it would be all over the tabloids. I know there are rumours about Jon and Co-Eds, but do you really think he would be that stupid.

I haven't seen the ad but I don't think they would show a seperation on TV, do you? I know they have crossed the line, but that seems really sick. I can't imagine the marriage lasting, in my opinion there is too much against them, but if they make it into TV then I would feel just sick for those kids. Again, in my opinion, enough is enough, call it quits and try and repair some of the damage.

I have not watched in about a year, I can't anymore. I feel so bad for those poor kids.

After seeing the interveiw with Aunt Jodi and all that jazz, I have kinda lost interest. I wouldnt be surprised if Jon was out with girls, he isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box, BUT, (all marriage vows aside) can you really blame him? His wife is a beast.

Especially after the Hawaii episode where they said they wanted to renew their vows and have the kids there so the kids know "mommy and daddy will be together forever".

I wuit watching it after they moved in the new house, but I ddi see the previews for the season finale so I may have to tune it just for that!!!

I think its just hype. I have missed a few episodes, so maybe this has already happened, but I heard that they gave the dogs back. So if that hasn't yet happened, maybe thats it.

Honestly, I would probably look like a bi&%h if I had a video camera taping me 24/7 and I only have 3 kids!! But I don't think Jon with the co-ed's was staged if it really did happen.

I def. don't think the show is ending - or at least ending because they want it to - that is their money train, and they keep saying that the kids get to do everything they have done because of the show, so I don't think they would cancel it on their own accord.

I think Kate would do everything in her power to keep the show going - they have a family of 10 to support, and neither of them have jobs. OMG, they would have to buy their own clothes, cars, food and pay for their own trips and beauty procedures

oh i use to loooooove this show but since last season it has become harder and harder to watch, at first I thought Kates occasional outburst was kinda funny and "typical" hubby wife banter but as it went on it got worse and worse and the fact those poor babies are allowed to BE KIDS (get dirty) etc bugs the mess out of me.. NORMAL kids get dirty, messy and I thought she wanted them to be NORMAL.. thats what irritates me, like the disney thing where she FREAKED over the ice cream, that was sooo over the top to me..i was so embarrassed for them ... its sad cause i think Jon is more laid back and go with the flow but the stress gets to him and i think he wants to be normal and not so in the public eye..i just think it isnt who he is. He seems to be simple and carefree kinda guy and Kate is so over the top and has gotten worse and worse over the years. I hope for the kids sake the show gets cancelled and their mom and dad work things out. They need to try to get back to normal.. I personally stopped watching the show when they started going all over the place and stopped showing "a day in the life" type episodes.

I knew Kate was whacked and way over the top when the did the episode of the kids getting their photo taken in the pumpkin patch and they wouldn't all look at the camera and smile at the same time and she FREAKED as she's standing there trying to get them to be adorable little puppets. The scary part, the sextuplets were like 1 1/2 or two at the time. She was totally nuts about the whole thing. Screaming at him, yelling at the kids. All I could think was OMG how does he put up with her. So if they are headed for divorce, I'm totally NOT surprised.
