If the Christmas one comes on, and you don't want to spoil the magic of Santa, you might not want your little ones to watch it.

Thanks for the heads up on the marathon. I know I said that I am sick of watching reruns but I am always hoping that they will show one that I have missed.

The marathon was great! I had never seen the one where they renovate the attic. I could never quite figure out where the big girl's room was located. And of course it is always great to rewatch the Disney trip even though it was too short. Thanks to whoever provided the heads up about the marathon.

My husband was laughing at me. The Disney one came on and once John and Kate met up to switch vans, I left the room. I couldn't watch the whole "wash the pee out of the van" and ice cream meltdown. My kids get stuff on themselves at WDW (or they did when they were that age). You use some wet wipes and get over it.

Heck, my younger son had an accident on one trip and we were at the Poly for dinner. He got a whole Hawaiian outfit out of the deal-you just have to lighten up with stuff like that.

What I couldn't figure out with the whole ice cream debacle - and my daughter and I say this EVER TIME we see this episode - but WHY would you give those kids ice cream while they're meeting the princesses? The whole timing of this was weird.

My dh was watching with me and said "wow I will never complain about your ocd disney attitude again" as Kate had her ice cream meltdown. :rotfl2: I have to say I loved that they were interviewing them and Kate knew right away about the ice cream and that after a day at the park that would be what they focus on in the show. I enjoy it so much. And I have half the kids she has and I don't know how she does it all with a camera crew around. She is lucky for all the help they get from those great friends and the sil. But boy I think she needs it with all that action.

I think they got to have a "special" meeting with the princesses and then someone from DISNEY brought over the treats- I am thinking the princesses were leaving at that point and they felt like letting them have a little space to have some ice cream. I think in editing it it looks closer than it actually was.

I saw the farm episode last night. I've never seen that one before. I want to visit that farm! It was really cool.

I was :rotfl2: when Maddie(I think) was explaining about the "stuff" they had to take and she gets to the medicine and adds We need it because we won't be eating the good organic stuff.

No Jon and Kate got them the ice cream after the Tea Cups because the kids were getting hungry and cranky since they had an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's. This was before the "special" meeting wtih the princesses.

During the episode of the attic renovation (I never saw that one) I was surprised to hear mention of another family member, Jeff. He helped John paint the room and it was said that Jeff was Kate's sister Kendra's husband. That comment and the one from Kate about her brother having all "sisters". I thought it was only Kate and her brother Kevin. Now I'm learning there is a Kendra, and wonder if there is another sister who's name starts w/a "K"??? Who knows? How many siblings does Kate have?

I remember reading on another forum that Kate has a couple sisters. I just can't remember how many...I think it is 2.

So, who watched last night? It was a bit much fo rme and I like Kate!! I could have yanked her silly when she was yelling at Collin about the gum and saying she was going to throw his bear away!!! That poor baby was crying, he was distraught and sad about the idea of his bear being thrown away!! Did she really think 3 year olds would say they weren't allowed to have gum? Come on Kate! I was honestly upset watching that whole thing!!!

Mady...I'd like to yank her silly too. Sometimes my 7yr old DS acts like her and I remind him of what he has said about HER acting that way. :) She was just so snotty about her special day when she came home.

Cara...so cute and seemed to LOVE being with her mom and dad.

Last nights shows were both good, I really enjoyed watching Cara and Jon have so much fun rollerblading. And laughed every time Jon made fun of Kate for not joining in. Poor Aunt Jody, you could tell these episodes that the kids really wore her out. And Mady asking ahead of time what can be considered an accident when she is abusing her siblings? :sad2:

Then came the episode where Mady gets her ears pierced, wonder why they didn't show these two episodes in the order that they happened? Anyway, I am one of those people that like Kate, I think her and Jon work well together and all that. However she can be very unreasonable and often needs to take a chill pill. :lmao: I was just glad that she didn't really throw poor Collin's bear away. That whole scene was just to much and a true case of Kate going overboard.

These episodes with Jon and Kate one on one with each child were really a pleasure to watch. I am glad they are going to make a yearly tradition of doing this.

For how bratty Mady can be, it was very touching to see her hugging Collin and looking at Kate with a "how could you" look when Kate was ranting that she was going to throw Collin's bear away. Poor Collin. I'm so happy she realized that it would be wrong to throw that bear away. I do admire Kate alot, but sometimes she just goes a little too far with the over reactions, but who am I to judge. Jon deserves a medal.:)

Last night's episodes were great! The sextuplets crack me up, it's so funny to hear what they randomly say to each other. But poor Collin and his bear... Kate went WAY overboard with that one. She kept saying that they shouldn't have gum because they're only three but that's exactly the point... they're only three. They weren't gonna turn down gum! And she was overly harsh on Aunt Jodie for giving them the gum, she was doing them a huge favor by watching their SEVEN kids almost every day and Kate just went off on her. That's gotta be uncomfortable for Jodie to watch!

Cara was so cute with John and Kate, she looked so happy to have her alone time with mom and dad to do something she loved. Maddy, on the other hand, has a problem. She's a cute kid and I kind of feel bad for her because it goes beyond simply being a brat. My cousins a brat and she never treats her younger siblings like that! I laughed when Kate talked about the angel kissing Cara but not having any lipstick let for Maddy... maybe telling her stories like that is what makes her act out for attention ;) Either way, she was good when she was on her own and you can tell she needs the extra attention. Didn't they say that she's in therapy? She definitely needs some help because hitting, kicking and poking her younger siblings with pencils isn't exactly normal and I'd be afraid to leave the kids alone with her. But then you see Maddy hugging an helping the kids so it seems like she has these fits of rage/jealousy. I hope they figure out if something's wrong...

I agree. I'm a big Kate fan and I thought she went overboard with the gum. Poor Aunt Jody! One of the kids puts a hole in her wall and Kate has the nerve to call her about the gum. I hated the ending of the show b/c of her attitude. oh well! luckily the bear was saved. :wizard:

I thought of this too. I think it might make a little girl feel well, less special. Especially in a twin situation.

I don't think there is anything "wrong" with Maddy, I think she just has her mom's personality.
