I went back and watched it. They didn't say anything to Tony..what they said (and maybe the other person heard Tony's name) was Tony might have had more life with a frock in a coat hanger (LOL).

After the scores (she got 5's..I couldn't believe she got such high scores) she asked Kate, Mother to Mother you don't have to explain exhaustion to me, and then something like why are you so tired. Kate said she had 8 little friends and used her energy on them. She should have stopped then. But she went on to say (and it may have been true, but she should have stopped, she has to know she'd get it for using them to get votes) that they count down the time for DWTS, she has to continue for them. Sure, I get that her kids are prob thrilled to see mom on this show, but she also knows this is also for her. Prob mostly for her. She really needs to own that.
I think they want her to mention the kids, and keep those watching Kate interested. I read this has had the highest amount of people watching ever. And they are saying it's to watch Kate.

Tony said she put out great effort (which I don't doubt..it prob is an effort for her to dance at all, she just has no rhythm) and he was proud of her. He didn't mumble it IMO..we thought he said it just like he talks. We didn't think he looked beat or upset with her. He got the one that can't dance this time. It is what it is. Sort of like you can't get water from a stone.

I don't think they said anything about Tony at all. Brooke went right in with tell me why you are so tired this week. I think he mumbled something about being proud of her, but again it sounded like he didn't believe what he was saying. I swear I just expect one or both of them to say, 'You know, we're done here. We've lost interest, we have the money'.

So I took a breather and realize that I was unfair yesterday in my remarks and would like to publicly (rather than in a PM) say to Lisa Loves Pooh that I apologize for what I said and how I came across. Everyone is right that the debate will continue and without being personally vested in either of these individuals does not warrant my being obnoxious.

Ok, I just watched and while bad it was better than the last dance I saw. I think it was week 2 and the red flapper jive. (was it the jive, who could tell?) I LOVE Bruno! She really does have all the energy and joy of a corpse. He nailed it when he said she needed to come out and give us something. She's not dancing, she's not trying. Tony really looks shell shocked and beaten down to me. He cringed when the judges started in. I think she is sucking the life out of him.

I thought it was funny the chalkboard didn't say Tony loves Kate.

It's hard for me to view the whole 'the kids made me tired' objectively, b/c I know the backstory but it's sooooooooo lame and fakey and a lie. She was led by Brooke, but it almost sounded like she (Kate) didn't believe it either.

Jake was good and Maks is certainly making the show more enjoyable!

I forgot to add she said the kids live and breathe for her to dance. How fascinating her kids always passionately want all these things she wants.

Kate Plus Eight Heading to Hollywood

Sources tell me that in between dance practices, Kate Gosselin has been house hunting in the Hollywood Hills for a mansion big enough for her and her eight kids.

"Now that Kate has tasted the excitement of Hollywood, there is no way that she is going to return to Pennsylvania," a friend of Kate's tells me. "She is looking at homes in the Hollywood Hills in gated communities in the $2 million range. Kate is insisting the properties she sees have a pool, at least six bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub and, bizarrely, a recording studio!"

And it's not just a home that Kate has been looking for in Los Angeles. Sources tell me she has been meeting with agents, managers and publicists.

Kate brings in the ratings = (equals) she has powerful "friends" in high places, that are helping her get started like I've never seen before. For example, when radaronline ran the slightly un-Kate article which was then pulled ASAP? I'd love to know the whole back story on the PR effort and who is driving it - maybe Eileen O'Neill, the TLC President? Big connections somewhere, but of course the scent of big money to be made will do that for ya

Remember when Kate took Mady and Cara to NYC for head shots and auditions? I think even back then Kate would have really liked for them to get into some kind of show business, so if they do move to CA I really wouldn't be surprised to see the girls on the Disney channel, Nickelodeon, or somewhere like that.

And also if they move it will be good that Kate probably won't have to do so much "loving them from afar", like she says in her book:

"I’ve learned to talk to my kids on the phone and love them from afar, reminding myself that I had to do my job. I truly enjoy the campaigns, books, shows, media.”

talk about setting yourself up for public scrutiny.

i'm sure paul peterson, gloria allred and others involved with child advocacy would just adore kate relocating to california. she'd be in their backyard with it's much more restrictive than pennsylvania child labor laws.

I stick by my comments that it was an odd week to have them visit, given how busy Kate was. Maybe it was spring break. (ETA: Spring Break was in March, per the school calendar)

with all the media surrounding Kate last week, I'm surprised there weren't more pictures, either.

They probably regrouped on Friday and went to DisneyLand on Saturday.

I almost have a feeling that Kate is going to be kicked off the show this evening. But because she is bringing in the huge ratings to DWTS, evening beating out American Idol, I'm going with Jake being kicked off.

I don't think he is getting backlash for whom he picked on the bachelor. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets kicked off this evening, then announces his split. I sort of liked him and thought, "he is actually really trying." Jake did a promo back in the beginning at WDW with his partner and the girl he picked on the Bachelor. Sorry, can't remember her name. And, I couldn't tell them apart, they looked almost identical. Actually Chad should be voted off next-but I think the NFL friends are keeping him on with votes. I thought his attitude would be snarkier, but I think when they dance-you can't hide who you are-it is out there for everyone to see.

I'll give Kate credit this week, for being a tad more relaxed. But it was almost the exact same dance routine as last week. One or two more leg kicks, and instead of Tony swinging Kate around his hips, he pulled or swept her under his legs, and she came very close to hitting something

That picture of Kate in this link is MOSRT DEFINATELY a wig and not extentions. You can tell by the thick part and how there is no area brushed away from her face.It look ridiculous. What mother of eight kids wears wigs? Weird. Phony as Kate is.

I wish there was a mike on her to hear how she felt about people recognizing her. Imagine that, she can't even enjoy a days of being taken to the front of the lines a Disney Land without people bothering her. Poor thing.

Oh my goodness, that made me almost spit my tea out! The infamous ice cream episode! "She's ruined, she's ruined!"

You know, I'm going to have to say that because Kate was with the kids, I totally understand them going to the front. Imagine waiting in line and having strangers try to touch your kids? I would freak! I'm sure there would be some crazy fan asking all sorts of personal, inappropriate questions in front of the kids too. I'm glad they didn't have to go through that. And I think it's awful that they boo-ed Kate and the kids. Boo Kate all you want people but leave the kids alone. They are innocents in this mess.

Ok, that article made me laugh because Kate called her kids 'the wind beneath my wings'! That just sounds bizarre to me and made me chuckle because now I have that Bette Middler song in my head....I can fly higher than an eagle, cause you are the wind beneath my wings.'

Does anyone think the kids coming out to CA and going to Disneyland has something to do with an upcoming Kate+8 special?? In her interview with Joy Behar, she said the kids were really excited because they were planning a trip for the show (special).

Okey dokey, just finished watching Kate's performance on last night's Dancing with the Stars, I think that Tony's comment in the clip "Kate has no motivationa and I have it push her each week and it gets exhausting." That (for me) said it all.

I think the kids went out there because she will likely be cut from the show tonight. Especially since if the judges have anything to do with picking from the dance off, she will be gone.

As for her comment about using her energy on them, I took that as being that she did a lot with them considering her situation (not seeing them for a while). I also think it was a plug for votes since she should have said that she was also busy with the book signings and interviews etc. She did look tired and not interested in being there.

I won't say that I can't tell....

But there are folks whose hair is conducive to that style without had of a wig. Maybe she's wearing a "bump it".

That's truly a shame if that is the case. It can be emotionally draining to have to work to get someone put forth the effort needed.

I think she wants to stay but does not want to have to put in any time or effort in order to achieve that. She'd still be terrible with more practice, but it would make her a better person. The other dancers put in the work. They're real, she's fake.

I think Tony's dancing is getting pretty bad too! he doesn't even look good out there.

I agree with this but I think it would have made the other comment about the kids/being tired seem more logical or acceptable because of everything she had going on last week.

I for one thought that she would not have seen them since she didn't go home but was relieved that wasn't the case. Plus they got to go back to a disney property which is always great for kids.

As for the booing in Disneyland, is it possible that some of those people were just annoyed because there was a lot of people in her crowd that got to jump to the front? I am thinking that if it is a famous family with a handful of people that would be one thing but with her it looked like a group of at least 14. They would be more noticeable since they were a large group.
