We should make that our mission--related OT posts in some way to Jon and KAte...

that way we will always be relevant...unlike Jon and Kate.:lmao:

(See how easy that was?:rotfl:)

Do you think Kate is a cat person? My cat was missing for 5 days & she came home last night. She is a rescue & we don't let her out but she got past DD13 when she was taking the Dog out.

My take on the show-Kate apologized for her behavior, but threw Jon under the bus. Though she did say, it was a happy moment when she saw Jon jogging along side Joel when he rode his bike without training wheels.

Doesn't she always? Whenever she "admits" anything negative about herself it's always followed with - "but, but, but," - and somehow she has valid reasons for her bad behavior and Jon doesn't..

For the kids sake, I hope this upcoming court date (if it even makes it to court) resolves all of the issues - the kids will no longer be filmed - and Jon and Kate can do "whatever" to support themselves and their children..

I know she isn't a dog person.

I'm allergic to dogs, so no dog issues her.

Wow 5 days! The kitty was gone less than Kate. No meowing engagements or paw signings?

In her defense, the kids ride a school bus, so she was trying to tie it all in together.

But seriously--she's being interviewed about both of them--she's never speaking straight to the camera. So likely she was asked. But we don't ever really hear the questions on the show though. Just her responses.

Admittedly, I couldn't watch the show--memories was just too much and with the tease of what they would show, I didn't want to sob for an hour over what once was. And I'm sure the comment we are talking about referred to his "stick" comment he said to her and she was offended. In the original episode he did apologize during the interview (and maybe even on a q&a episode, I'm not sure)--but if she was commenting on all the clips and that was one of them, she could have taken the high road and not said anything, but it was a poor choice of words for Jon and Kate has every right to comment on it.

Well I think we have established that they "both" have made some pretty poor comments - on the shows; in interviews; in the magazines; etc. - but I think Kate should "own" more than she does.. There's always an excuse or a "but".. I'll never forget the time she told Jon to "stop breathing" on the couch because he makes too much noise when he breathes.. Who does that? Oh - I know - Kate! LOL..:rotfl::rotfl:

Ironically, I had a dream about Kate one night last week.. Oh - the horrors of it!!! But anyhow - she was sitting in a chair somewhere - I assume being interviewed - and she was crying her eyes out.. (I mean "really" crying - no sniffles or fake stuff..) And all she kept sobbing over and over was, "I never should have agreed to do this show.." I woke up thinking to myself - I wonder if that's what she really meant during that interview session last week when she said she "lays awake in the middle of the night wondering if she is making or has made the best decisions?".. Could it be the light bulb has finally gone off in her head?? Just something to ponder..:upsidedow

There's no getting around it.. This whole situation has come to a very, very sad ending - for everyone..[/I]

She and Jon "traded" their two adult cats for the twins.:confused3 Glad your kitty is safe at home. One of mine is a gypsy and thinks she has many owners...drives us nuts.

I'm so glad she came home. We've had a couple of them like that, that are bound and determined to get out and you just can't stop them. I bet she had you worried. Hmm..was she catting around like Jon LOL?

As long as they are neutered...it's okay.

okay--wait a minute...:rolleyes1

We need our own Tonight Show band so we can get our little drum beat for for the punch lines.

Wonder if Kate could hook us up? I hear she made some contacts over there.

And I'm sure the comment we are talking about referred to his "stick" comment he said to her and she was offended. Yes, that was the comment. And several times during the show, she addressed her behavior, and clearly said she was wrong (everything just about except the gum..that one she did say she shouldn't have been so nasty, but oh, she hates gum on stuff). As Jon had said in an interview, she did say she had apologized, at some of the meltdowns they showed last night, and I did feel she wishes she had been different to him. She said no excuses, she was wrong. The times they showed her with her meltdowns, she said it is something she is working on. I never got the idea she wasn't sorry for them. I think both her and Jon have said things in interviews that have shown the other of them not as bad as they could have. I think that in the long run will be better for the kids.

that is what the few recaps I read said, more or less.

The only time I thought she blamed him, if you could call it that, was when she said she hated that he made the stick comment. She did say that should have been a clue, or whatever the exact words, of the future..but she didn't say it (IMO) as a slam against him. The only time I think she didn't feel she was as bad as we thought, was T R Us. She said she was mic'd and it was louder to us than the people in the store. But she also said she learned from that and wouldn't do something like that again to Jon.

She did say that she had not changed (and I think we all think she was very disrespectful right from the get go and that didn't change) but he had. And well, he had from what I could tell. He decided he didn't like how she was treating him, and so he busted out. We could go into why some of us felt like he was treated like a child, but I don't think it even matters any more.

Perhaps I'm wearing Kate colored glasses, but I actually thought she held back, and most of the show, the melt downs for sure, were about her reactions (and she said she was wrong) and very little was said about Jon at all. They showed very little of the comments (other than the stick) that he used to get in. Maybe they are saving those for next week.

I found some of it very sad, when they were actually working well together. I would like to see the show end on more a positive note (not show the bad parts of either) and I'm hoping the last show will concentrate on those times, and not the bad times from either of them. Next week previews show 'the fence', and I really wish they would just end it now and be done with it (TLC).

I actually was pretty surprised at the show last night..it wasn't what I expected and I've read places where people thought she handled herself well, considering that she really just told about the little snippets we were seeing.

My electricity went out last night right after they announced the #4 moment....did they say anything about whats coming up next week or if there are a limited # of episodes left?

It was very odd if she gets out she looks around & runs back in with the Dog. Just like Kate checking on the kids:laughing:

They should never have animals again. My DH suspects she was being fed in someones house she looks so good. We think she escaped from her captors.

She is such a scardy cat. I think another cat chased her away.

I think Jon is fixed:laughing:

They should previews of the show, and said,
"watch what was really going on last Spring"
blah, blah, blah,
but then it showed Mady watching her dad down by the fence.
I don't know if Mady was really watching her dad, or if TLC edited that scene for the preview to make it look like she was watching. Who knows. It will be sad, if TLC takes advantage of the kids pain, if they are upset with their dad.

"If" TLC takes advantage of the kids pain? When have they ever had any interest in protecting the kids or their privacy? No better than J&K in that respect.. Nice to know that others can actually see this train wreck for what it is..

The show is dead.. Without the ability to film the kids for new shows, there "isn't" any show.. Time to give it up and replace it with something else that would actually make "The Learning Channel" a place for learning - as opposed to exploitation..:sad2:

Jon was on the Insider & was mad at Kate. He fell asleep in Mady's bed & she woke him at 11:00 & told him he should be gone.

It sound like Kate gave Jon the bums rush.

He said she threw my stuff by the front door. He said he could have collected his own stuff & this is his house too.

This is not word by word but the general jist.

He took questions from people in time Square & someone asked why don't you stop going on TV & be quite. He said this is his new way of making a living & he will not be stopping.

It sounds like they are going to wind down with sadness :(

I thought they said there was one more show after this, so two more. I do hope they show some taste as they end the show. I know it made me sad to see the previews. I hope those were just teasers, and that they don't go into the whole mess again. Personally I didn't think they needed to re-show all of Kate's melt downs, and I don't want them to re-show all that had been going on with Jon. I'll have to wait and see. I would not want to condemn someone before the fact. The sad part to me is, I think the worse they show, the higher the numbers will be, because those who are not regular watchers, seem to like the dirt aspect. This is sweeps month.

I wonder why he was sleeping in Mady's bed, if he was supposed to be gone. They must not have alarms. I thought it was the kids' house.

This is another one of he said, she said. This type of custody is never going to work.

Does he mean that being on the shows is his new work? I hope not, because the only way they'll want him, is if he's going to talk smack about Kate. Otherwise there is no audience for him. Wonderful thought that he won't be stopping. Geesh.
